Hotel is a few minutes walk from the main centre but still convenient as town is small. Good breakfast! Staff are friendly. Onsite carpark has limited spaces but can park on the street easily.

Because I was staying with my pet and the hotel asked for a quiet room, I was given a room in the corner. It was very quiet and the price was reasonable.

Good modern hotel with a strategic location for visiting the city of Metz. Good value for money. Correct room with everything you need. Good breakfast.

The hotel vents have a sewer smell, the room is ok, you may not expect too much in a small town

The staff are good - particularly David. If the review was about the staff, then David would get my vote. I would like hotels to be a little clearer on what is on offer in their hotels. As we were on a road trip parking was an essential element when I was booking hotels. Parking is available but you can’t reserve doesn’t really do it for me. Breakfast was good - plenty of choice. The restaurant was ok but closed on Sundays. The hotel was fine and the beds and pillows were comfortable.

As a Technical Manager, I would like to share my experience staying at the Mercure Metz hotel during a recent business trip. The hotel not only impressed me with its cleanliness but also stood out for its exceptional service and incredible food options. The combination of these factors made it an excellent choice for my stay in Metz.

Stayed one night here. The public areas are very stylish and the room was excellent. The bed was big but the pillows were small and square. There was a fridge and a chair with a table. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice but the staff were struggling to top everything up

Great location only 5 min walk to train station and 7 min walk to the square where you will find restaurants and bars. There is a little bakery that sells great options for breakfast (only 1 min walk from the hotel) , very affordable prices! The hotel unfortunately has a sewage smell in the reception and in our first night the smell was very noticeably in our room as well. Also, we didn’t have hot water in the first day due to an issue. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and tea/coffee facilities as well.

Everything was excellent apart from the signage to enter the car park, due to the one-way system you can't see the sign and so pass it and so have to go all around again. This would be an easy fix I'm sure, and didn't distract from a great stay. Driving a plug-in car it was great to see a charging point that was free to use. On entering the hotel the receptionist was welcoming and efficient, our room was high quality and with plenty of electrical outlets and other items that made our stay comfortable. The location is far enough out to be quiet but a short easy walk to the centre and all the sights. The quality of our afternoon meal and the breakfast were both very good as were all of the staff that we encountered. When visiting Metz I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely place for two nights. Nicely refurbished lounge with friendly service at the bar. Easy check in with private parking lot for a reasonable extra fee. Comfortable room, very clean. Bathrooms could use updating but as we understood it, further renovations are planned.

Comfortable room, clean and good location. The check in staff were helpful and friendly. The decor beyond the reception/bar area was a little tired in places but would happily stay here again

terrible hotel. Not suitable for frequent travelers who are concerned about sleeping in clean rooms with proper sheets , without holes , tears and stains. This place is Disgusting

Location is good. Room - basic but ok Hotel public areas are dated and a bit shabby Breakfast was appalling. Dinner was delicious but Wine served with dinner was not the bottle chosen and waiter said nothing, just opened and served the bottle. Dinner service was very slow Approached for cash whilst eating outside. Quite a few suspicious people around outside the hotel.. Would use again if no alternative with parking available.
