Suites Contempo

Nice, clean and quiet hotel. Booked this hotel because it's near to my congress venue and much cheaper than the congress hotel. It's just walking distance to the Museum of Anthropology and Castle. In addition, it's near to metro train station Chapultetec (5min walk). For 5 peso, you can travel using the train from airport terminal 1 to the hotel. I only discovered it when I was leaving.

The room was big and it had everything I needed. I will definitely be staying with them in the near future.

The room does not match the description and pictures, we booked an executive suite, which shows the space is 750 square feet. But it's actually a different one with no wood floor, just rough concrete floor. And the size is ＜ 350 square feet. The decoration is pretty old, and there furnitures and walls have obvious wear, the door locker is loose. And there's some smell of moldy smell But the front desk is pretty helpful, they offered to switch back to the one as picture described in the second day. The dryer is broken (please be aware not all of them has a laundry in unit), and it can only dry 3 small clothes at a time, or else it will stop working periodically. The location is good, it's nearby grocery of 7-11 and pharmacies and has some restaurants nearby.

Parking is just for three cars and next to a mayor highways which even with double glass is noisy I slept two hours! I did not dare to go out again as I would not have parking Would not recommend. Staff was friendly

The walls are paper-thin; you can hear everything the people in the room next door are doing, and when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. It feels more like a motel. This makes it so hard to sleep. Also, the bed is as hard as a rock. The hotel is barely holding together. It is of very poor quality

The room has a nice view and all the amenities you would want. Good value for the price.

Before coming to Mexico City, I booked 3-nights at another 4-star hotel, which was a disaster. To avoid making the same mistake, we searched several hotel websites, read reviews, and came across Suites Contempo. I don't know how I missed this hotel. Suites Contempo offered everything we were looking for in a hotel: price, room size, amenities, close proximity to historical sites, walking distance to downtown sites (the zoo, parks, clubs, restaurants, stores, etc…), excellent for walking around the hotel. Not to mention the staff. A big thank you to the front desk service as well -- the front desk clerk let us check in early and was highly responsive. Especially coming from another hotel. One thing I was so grateful for was the staff speaking English, especially since I don't speak Spanish. Even when they could not remember a word or two, I understood what they were saying, and I was so grateful for the effort. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything for a quick stay. The food in the terrace restaurant was delicious, and the view of the city, the surrounding buildings, and the nightlife view was to die for. We took so many pictures, and the waiter helped (thanks).  The view is extraordinary, and the location is convenient for many of Mexico City's most exciting attractions. You want be disappointed. I highly recommend Suites Contempo!
