We have eaten here a few times because the food was always good. I asked for the 'special' venison to be medium rare and got it well done. It looked like it had been on a plate under heat for a while as one side was super tough. We tried to get a drink after the meal and were told that the bar closed at 09:45! There was no warning for this which surprised us. The rooms were not great. a bright LED from the radiator illuminated the room, lots of road noise and paper thin walls meant plenty of sound coming into my room and overall it was a very bad sleep. On a positive, the lady who served breakfast was superb!

Set in a lovely village just outside Cirencester. Friendly staff and great food, Only slight downside the room was a bit on the small size but fine for 2 days. I have to praise the hotels housekeeper the room/hotel was spotlessly clean. There's a nice little church close by well worth a visit.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable but the breakfast was over the top outstanding! I had the Mason’s classic English breakfast and it was the best breakfast I had during my entire three week stay in the UK.

Fabulous Cotswold stone country inn.
Beautifully modernised with very comfortable bedroom. Also a great chef!
We had an excellent lunch and a great breakfast the following morning.
Can recommend it highly, and we’ll certainly be back for a longer stay.

It is a beautifully restored hotel a great room, very friendly staff, and great-tasting food in the restaurant.

Service and care was very good. Room was comfortable and clean, toiletries included. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the chef prepared a lactose free sauce especially for my sister. We were having to leave early the next morning prior to breakfast, so we were given a breakfast bag to take with us.
