Tropics Hotel Miami Beach

Location: Located near main common interest places, including a public beach entrance within walking distance. Close to tourist attractions, local shopping, and bus/trolley stops. Short walk to the beach and local shopping.

I recently stayed at the Tropics Hotel in Miami Beach, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The hotel is severely outdated and in desperate need of renovations. First, the rooms are dark, with no way to open the windows or get proper ventilation. The photos on the hotel’s website are misleading—they make the place look much nicer than it actually is. In reality, the hotel is rundown, with paper-thin walls that let in every bit of noise from neighboring rooms and hallways. The pool, which looked inviting in the pictures, was dirty and unappealing. I never saw anyone swimming, likely because it didn’t seem well-maintained. The lobby also had a strange, unpleasant smell, adding to the overall discomfort of the stay. If you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay in Miami Beach, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. The Tropics Hotel simply doesn’t deliver on what it promises.

I had a terrible experience at Tropics Hotel & Hostel. The photos shown online are outdated and do not represent the current state of the property. The shared kitchen was dirty, with ants everywhere, and the pool was also not clean. The rooms offered no privacy; you can hear everything from other rooms. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
