Marriott Stanton South Beach

Location: The hotel is ideally situated near the beach, offering breathtaking sea views and proximity to vibrant nightlife in Miami. Guests appreciated the location, especially the sunrise from the balcony, and found it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.(based on 1 review)

The Stanton has been a central part of our frequent getaways to South Beach. We switch between Stanton and Hilton. Both equally have their pros and cons. In our comparison, Stanton has a little edge due to proximity, safety and noise. BENTLEY is right next to Nikki Beach and although we like the Ocean Front suites, there is a price to pay for the music later in the evening/night. I must say they have "toned" it down some. Their suites are very close, ocean side, to the point you can hear things next to you. Also, the suites are so close that anyone can easily step over the balcony bar into your room. BIG issue of safety for us. However, we do love the amenities and use of the property as members. STANTON is south of 5th which we love to be away from major noise as you head North on Ocean Drive. Hubby and I are very active and love walking the park, pathway, beach and riding the bikes. The beach chairs we use early mornings/late afternoons in cooler temps not during peak hot hours. The pool, likewise, later in the evenings with less guest. We have learned from our frequent visits to time the best opportunity when it is not crowded. Of course looking out our OF suite we can see if it is a great time to go. The location of Stanton is great proximity. Everything is within walking distance. We go to Publix and stock up on supplies for our stays. Pharmacies, Walgreens, CVS and Surf Style on just about every major corner for your personal care items beach needs. Its great when you frequent an establishment and they remember your preferences in order. PIZZA DAYS, BIG PINK and SANTORINI BY GEORGIOS are a few we frequent during our stays and they provide a variety of tasty foods. Likewise the cleaning crew, valet service are a pleasure to greet and conversate with on each of our return visits. The smiles and customer service are a "plus". Valet service, you know who you are, Alex, always providing ice cold water before our walks and bike riding and upon our return. Its the little thoughtfulness that make a BIG impression. THANK YOU!!! We love the OF rooms. They provide just enough distance from other suites for privacy and noise control. The one con we would mention would be guest smoking on the balcony. When this occurs, it affects the ability to enjoy fresh air, breezes and the sound of rolling waves when your balcony door is open. We go inside and close the door until the smoker is finished. It would be helpful if the property would enforce the posted, "No Smoking" sign on the balcony and provide a designated area for smokers away from the property. The "Creme De La Creme", the sunrises and sunsets. Hubby and I enjoy these special moments together never to be missed, reflective of our life together.
