great location, room is ok, nothing fancy but good cost and location

Just stayed at the Sentral Alea Miami, fantastic hotel with large clean rooms with everything you could possibly want it there. Can't beat the location, few minutes walk to bayside marketplace and lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Easy check in and checkout with baggage storage if you have a late flight out. Jose at reception went above and beyond to help with all requests we had. Highly recommend

My Brother and I had a great 3 night stay here. Friendly staff, straightforward checkin and out. . We had a 2 bed apartment which was well appointed and delivered on all the features and amenities outlined on their website. There didn't seem to be any housekeeping in the way a hotel will make your bed, change towels and straiten the bathroom, but for 3 nights that wasn't a problem, but be mindful if you're staying longer. That wet towel will still be where you left it. We had a washing machine and dryer so you can always sort that out. Sky lounge and pool are excellent. I'd definitely recommend and will go back given the opportunity

The hotel was easy to find, within walking distance of several restaurants and entertainment. Only complaints are the bed wasn’t very comfortable and the living room furnishings were stained.

We were there for the Lady Gaga concert. Perfect location, great place. Very happy with our stay!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Upon arrival, we were informed that our room wouldn’t be ready for a few hours—which was completely understandable, as we knew check-in time was later. The gentleman that checked us in was so polite and accommodating, we were very happy with him. We headed to the lobby to rest after over a day and a half of travel, exhausted but still excited to begin our stay. Within minutes of sitting down, a security woman approached me and told me I had to sit upright. Although surprised, I complied and asked politely if my posture was acceptable. Instead of answering calmly, she snapped her fingers at me and said, “Whatever you're doing, you can't do this,” with noticeable irritation. Still trying to rest, I put on my sunglasses to relax my eyes—having barely slept in nearly two days. She then raised her voice across the lobby, snapped her fingers again, and said, “You can’t close your eyes. Take off your sunglasses.” Not only was this unnecessarily aggressive, but it was also humiliating to be publicly called out in a space meant to feel welcoming. I was shocked by the hostility and lack of basic courtesy. If this is the attitude of someone meant to ensure safety and guest comfort, I honestly don’t understand how she represents the values of this hotel. What was supposed to be a moment of recovery turned into an uncomfortable, degrading experience. This was my first impression of the property, and unfortunately, it has already tainted the rest of my stay. Whether it’s because this is a residence-style hotel or not, I would hope the leadership does not condone this kind of treatment toward their guests. But from the repeated rude encounters with this same security staff member, it sadly feels like this behavior is not an isolated incident—but a norm. Deeply disappointed.
