Stay was Ok. The bright spot was Chris the breakfast worker. During 3day stay. He was always helpful,friendly and a joy to see in the mornings.

This SpringHill Dayton Hotel Marriott was the worst Hotel I’ve ever stayed at. My family and I flew into Cincinnati unexpectedly for our uncle’s funeral. After a long flight we then had to drive an additional hour to Dayton. Exhausted from a long day’s travel we book a hotel with favorite Hotel establishments the (Marriott) I think we checked in around 11:30 pm late. Too tired to really inspect in the room we opt out and went Directly to sleep. Waking up for the next day for the funeral to my surprise I see dirty pullout couch to a disgusting shower curtain as well as a bedbug crawling on the bathroom floor. We immediately gathered all of our items, suitcases. No only are we dealing with a loss of a family member now we dealing with this disaster. We immediately informed the hotel staff (Brett) manager of the ordeal ( pictures) to insult our intelligence he describe the bedbug as a beetle. How insensitive can you be we had no time to go back and forth with him we all had a funeral to attend. We left with the worry of transporting bedbugs with us. After the funeral we immediately went to a Laundry Mat to wash and dry all clothes. The unexpected expense from the clothes to the research for a new hotel I’m extremely frustrated to say the least with the lack of support from The Marriott representative. The Marriott is suppose to be the crème de la crème and this is the thanks we get as loyal Customers. My next step is to inform the board of health

The staff was very helpful in getting us a handicapped room. They were also very friendly.

We had never stayed at Springhill before but we will definitely book with this chain again. Room was massive, sofa comfortable, beds were very good. It was quiet and very clean. My only complaint was the pool, no towels, and had the most chlorine ever of any pool my kids eyes were burning. We loved that the pool was open till 11pm, staff was friendly, easy check in/ off. Stay here you won't be disappointed.

Great stay. Very modern. Well cared for. Rooms are nice and roomy. Excellent condition. Great customer service.

My room had molded cereal in the sink and the staff found that funny. It was like pulling teeth trying to get him to make sure we were happy about the situation
