Premier Inn Ipswich North

Rooms were very clean, food was lovely and hot , staff were very welcoming and beds comfortable, it was also nice and quiet

We had a lovely stay. Great room, friendly staff, and good food. What’s not to like. Would be happy to stay again. In fact this was a return visit.

On walking in, the place smelled of grease and cooking. The reception was empty, and we were not allowed to check in till 3pm on the dot. The girl who checked us in, was very matter of fact, not friendly or warm, just doing her job. The room smelled mouldy and damp. (though non was evident to see). It was basic but had everything you would need and was tidy and clean. someone above us sounded like they were dragging things across the floor. We only stayed a few hours, as we had to go home, but I will say we showered as soon as we got in, and our stuff went straight into the washing machine. Suffolk is a gorgeous county but Ipswich is a dive and this PI is really at the edge of a big industrial estate, although you won't know when your there. I wouldn't go again, and you can decide from my review if you would like to go.

What a friendly, well-run hotel. Staff were helpful, cheerful and seemed to like their work. Even though it was Saturday night and pretty busy, it seemed very quiet in the room and I had a comfortable night's sleep. They accommodated all our various requests at breakfast which was good and generous and Leslie on reception even posted back a computer plug I'd left in my room. Thank you.

Positives. Staff are friendly and courteous, bed is great, shower is nice. Breakfast was great. Lots of parking on site. Negatives. Hotel and room are worn and tired and need refurbishment. Back of bathroom door mouldy, shower rack very rusted. WiFi down for the whole time. Dinner service not good - took over 45 minutes to get two burgers.

Everything fully met our needs. As very experienced Premier Inn customers this stay was absolutely fine.

We really like Premier Inn because you know exactly what to expect, clean, comfortable at a reasonable price. Where a restaurant is available we have had great food experience both dinner and breakfast and this hotel was no exception. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Large car park and despite being near the motorway quite quiet. I would stay again.

We are frequent visitors to Premier Inns. Ipswich North excelled at every turn. Checking Inn, restaurant staff, quality of evening meal and breakfast to the comfort and cleanliness of the room, all very much 'Top Drawer'. All staff were cheerful and efficient. Very comfortable stay with maximum help and efficiency from the staff. Great job. Well done.
