Het is een rustig hotel gelegen in het centrum van Middelburg. Toen wij er waren hebben we daar enkel mensen gezien van ongeveer 45 jaar oud en ouder. De kamer was ruim. Alleen spijtig dat er nagenoeg geen kasten waren om de kleding en dergelijke in op te bergen. Maar daar bestaan oplossingen voor. Het ontbijt en het avondeten waren zeer lekker. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en gedienstig. Voor ons was het geslaagd.

First world problems, I know - in the September ‘23 heat wave we were hot and bothered to find that the “aircon’ in the room was a unit that didn’t work, and piped hot air around the room - not only that, we were on the ground floor and to have the pipe exit the room meant leaving the door to the terrace open for anyone to be able to enter our room if they had access to the hotel. We raised concerns with the staff and they were very nice and said it would be looked into, however there was no change in the 2 (almost unbearable) nights we spent here, other than to provide us with a fan (which also moved the hot air around).

The good: Comfortable bed, good shower, central location, friendly staff, good breakfast.
The bad: Parking is remote, shower door noisy when opened, you got to lug your own luggage up the stairs (no elevator), signs of leakage and mold on the ceiling, noisy church bell close by.
