I just stayed here for a conference. It has a lovely atrium and I appreciated the staff. The hotel is way on the west side, in an office park. It is surrounded by nothing but parking lots. A sea of parking lots. And they charge $10/night to park a car. I get paying for parking in the city and where parking is limited but it is literally nothing but parking lot! This is a money grab by them and I am not thrilled. They upgraded me to a junior suite and it was typical, with a little more room, but the HVAC was so noisy that it kept waking me up and the room was right next to the freeway---like, almost on top of it. Unlike most Marriotts, the bed was not comfortable. I was pretty surprised. This is the least pleasant experience I have had at a Marriott in a long time. Not tempted to return.
