Hotel Berna

This was by far the best hotel of my trip to Italy, no contest. All the staff were incredibly professional and courteous. The breakfast had a great variety too. It's a shame my trip was a bit rushed this time, but I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.

The room was advertised as 14 square meters, but the one we got was actually much larger. It's a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, perfect if you have an early flight. The front desk staff were very friendly and the minibar drinks were all complimentary, which was a nice touch!

I rarely write reviews seriously, but Berna absolutely deserves one. First, the location is great, just a few minutes' walk from the central train station. Then, the staff here are incredibly helpful and nice! We arrived around 10 AM, were able to store our luggage for free, and then started exploring Milan. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, they first upgraded my room to a King-size bed. Because my mom wanted separate beds, and there were no more twin rooms available, we troubled the staff again to help us find another room and separate the two beds. I originally thought the hotel would be old, but it wasn't at all! It was very clean and tidy, and even the faucets and fixtures in the bathroom were new and spotless! Everything in the minibar was free, including soda and water, and if we needed more, they would replenish it. The service attitude was also very friendly. If I come back to Milan, I will definitely stay here again.

The room was small, but very clean. You have to understand the standard of living in developed countries. Such a small room, but when you see the sparkling fixtures in the bathroom, the sturdy glass shower enclosure, the spotless vanity, and the clean windows, you instantly understand what 'respect for people' means. I recommend booking breakfast; it's not expensive, but it's excellent.
