Hotels Near Parchetto delle Colonne in Milan

I stayed in this hotel for almost two weeks in March and April 2023. I was satisfied in every way. The reception staff are all very experienced, helpful and kind. Special thanks to the Mr. Stefano and Mr. Simon and the all other colleagues. The breakfast was also very good. The hospitality of the ladies in the breakfast section was excellent. I had a long stay and the hotel staff treated me in such a way that I didn't feel like I was away from home. My room was big and very clean. The ladies who were in charge of cleaning the room were experienced in their work. All in all, I had a very good experience of staying there and I also strongly recommend this hotel to others. We had a great stay in the Eco Hotel Milano. I had a single room. It has everything that one person needs. It's great that everything in the hotel i ecological. We had a great breakfast. Itt was a great offer with really good food at the breakfast. Everything was clean. The people who worked there were all very nice. To the Milano Duomo there are 10 minutes by metro and it was very easy to find the metro station.

Ho pernottato all'hotel Corallo due notti in una camera doppia. L'Hotel è normale, nulla di particolarmente pretenzioso ma comunque di discreto livello; la mia camera non era molto grande ma era abbastanza funzionale grazie all'armadio ed alla televisione, mentre la vista dalla finestra non era granché e soprattutto il bagno non finestrato non era particolarmente gradevole. Ad ogni modo, per il prezzo (circa 35€ a notte, tasse incluse) andava bene e dovessi tornare in zona ci farei di nuovo tappa senza troppi problemi.

Very nice hotel, a lot of space, but room, but a bit far from the town, I spend 50€ in the evening for taxi to get back to the hotel because public transport aren’t working till late, so at the end with same price I could actually booked hotel in town :)

Hotel is very poor in service & quality Rooms were dirty & very basic. No bar or lounge area to sit , just the very basic breakfast area Location is in nowhere's land , and taxi always required Price is outrageous for this type of hotel, and they took advantage of the ITMA event to charge 350€ per night.. but at this price, I would expect a different level of service & quality. Breakfast was also very poor , always same and not much choices Finally, I was staying in the room for disabled people. Could not take a long shower, as the bathroom was flooding in no time and water even floaded into the room. Due to location and no good accommodities to stay in hotel, you were obliged to always take taxi to Milan , which was also very expensive, hence better staying in the center of Milan and taking train/subway instead.

This place definitely has its pro’s and con’s and it depends what sacrifices you are willing to make for price. Looking at other reviews I thought I wouldn’t mind it as I’m not too fussy usually but overall I felt uncomfortable and didn’t really want to stay any longer than I had to: Pro’s -Good cheap price -Whilst further out, it’s super convenient for public transport right outside the hotel only 2 euro to get into Milan only takes 30 mins tops -The man on reception was lovely and very helpful -Rooms are big and whilst very dated and nothing to shout home about if you’re used to budget travelling they aren’t filthy or falling apart -Nice big shower room -Fast, free Wi-Fi and slippers and towels Cons -We felt the area at times was slightly scary (although we did first arrive at night) some concerning characters/gangs in surrounding areas and appeared to be in the hotel as well. It’s a pretty rundown area and we didn’t feel very comfortable there -The walls - I’ve never known anything quite like it to be honest it was so so loud I could hear absolutely everything the entire time. Babies crying, doors shutting, people talking/shouting, playing music, stomps up the hallway - constantly and late into the night waking us up. This all added to the sense of un-ease as it didn’t seem like you were on your own and I couldn’t relax in the room and just wanted to leave. -We were also in an outhouse which wouldn’t usually be a problem but felt so exposed as it was that it just added to the feeling Despite all the positives we couldn’t look past these negatives and I really wouldn’t recommend regardless of price.

What a great hostel, I’ve stopped at many hostels in my time but this was very much one of the better ones. I can only comment on our private room however. Friendly welcome, easy enough check in even though we arrived at 2am due to cancelled trains, not a problem! Great bar and area, things always happening. We saw a live jazz band in there for the one night we were there. Pub crawls, city tours for free, speed dating have it all. Our room was great, clean and comfortable. It was quite loud during the night, noisy neighbours (not the hostels fault) and a weird kind of opening of vents or something from the aircon possibly. Couldn’t put my finger on it but maybe worth looking at. Thankyou to the team!

Everything went well. However, the hotel is far from the center of milan and it takes about an hour by public transport (3 transfers by bus) to get there. Employees very nice, helpful, with knowledge of English. The hotel is clean.

I have been for a couple of days for a work trip in this hotel. It is close to Politecnico di Milano, within walking distance. The large room was well furnished. Nice internal garden to take something to drink. Good breakfast. The staff was very nice and efficient. The room is super-clean, and the shower wide and new.

I booked and paid for standard bed however once I was there I was informed they are full to capacity and only twins beds were available. My trip was for 5 nights and the they would only be able to offer me a standard bed the last night of my stay. I was also told that I'm staying longer than the normal as their minimum patrons stays between 2-3 nights and my stay is longer. The food is also not desirable. I was disappointed by that being in Italy and not having a capable chef. The person working was overwhelm as the was the only one and there were many people to attend to. The location was not ideal as it was right next to an abandon building and walking to get the bus was dark and creepy. Because it was my first time in Milan I was expecting more but next time I'll choose another hotel closer to the town.
