I booked one night at this hotel for 5 people - 4 adults and child. When we got there, there were only two beds in the room, not enough room for five people. There was no pull out couch or any other places to sleep. I tried to get a refund since they were clearly falsely showing that the room could sleep 5, but I was told to go through **********. The manager said they do not have rooms that hold 5 people. I asked for a print out of my checkout receipt showing that I checked in and out the same day. The hotel manager lied to ********** and said I never complained, asked for another room or checked out and that I completed my stay. It was a pretty terrible experience. I honestly can’t speak to the room - it looked very basic. But I can speak to the dishonesty of the management.

This motel is a treasure. Clean updated close to Waldemeer and restaurants. For the price of a night's stay not only was the owner hospitable but so were the the others who were staying there. We met new friends and truly enjoyed our time. We will be coming back to stay here.

Had a wonderful experience !!!! The motel was clean and updated WIFI and nicely sized rooms. The place was super clean. Staff was wonderful especially a young man I believe his name was Mark he was just very friendly and made me feel like we had been friends for years. I loved the close family vibe of the Lodge. Also a young woman I cant recall her name but she was a very sweet pretty blonde. I will definitely be returning

We booked this sight unseen from the road on our way into town. Huge mistake. When we rolled in, there were several creepy people hanging out in front of some rooms. One of the guys came into the office when I was checking in and the guy at the desk called someone to let her know that her customer was ready for her in the office. Some drunk girl was screaming about people ruining her 21st birthday off and on all night. There was some altercation outside our room in the morning and two cop cars in the lot when we quickly got out as soon as we could that morning. I’ve stayed in some pretty raunchy places all over the world to save a buck, but this one ranks high on the total crap hole scale. Do not stay here!

I meant to book for the next night, but accidentally booked the same night. When I realized this, I canceled it within an hour of booking (it was already 8 or 9pm also) and called ******* to get a refund. They said the owner was "sticking to the policies" and couldn't help. I called the motel and got the run around basically. The owner is refusing to refund me, even though he lost NO BUSINESS due to my mistake. I am a student without an income currently and that $90 gone is huge. What a slimy way to run a business and terrible way to be a human. Zero compassion, only cares about making a buck. Hard to even express how upset this makes me.
