Wow….. what can I say about the Hotel Milna Osam….simply outstanding. I have just returned from 4 night stay of luxury. What a fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of Milna. In such a stunning position where you can watch the boats coming in and out of the marina. Whether you’d like to watch them from the pool or swimming in the sea or laying on the sun bed. The hotel is a great place to relax and recuperate. Staff were very attentive and extremely friendly. Rooms were elegant and sparkling clean. The hotel has such elegance and character. The food was simply divine with a wide selection of choice. Definitely go for the half board option if you can. You can have the option to choose from a 3 course meal; the salmon is a must have. The restaurant food itself deserves a Michelin, likes it’s sister hotel, Hotel Osam (Supetar). I really hope a Michelin inspector dines their soon! My only recommendation for the hotel would be to get some bikes for hotel guests to hire out like their sister hotel in Supetar. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning next year. Don’t hesitate coming here….book!!

Milna Osam is superbly located within a short stroll of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shops and boat trips and tours to other islands. Milna is a very small and relaxed place, which is exactly what we wanted. The hotel exterior is beautiful with a lovely pool and beach area. The hotel is on different levels with no lift so it can be tricky with luggage. The hotel staff were all very helpful and the food was great. The hotel is located next to the marina’s petrol station. I enjoyed watching the boats pulling in and going past throughout the day but some other guests mentioned that they were less keen due to the noise and smell of fuel, which didn’t bother me. You cannot borrow an iron at this hotel. If you want ironing done, it has to be handed in and paid for at reception and will be returned the next day. There is also a €2.50 euro per day charge to borrow a beach towel. Much of the appeal of this hotel when booking was that it’s adults only. It is definitely worth being aware that the beach area is public and is used by families. The majority of the hotel’s sun beds are in the beach area and you can always find one. The beds are however reserved for hotel guests but they were used by others including children and this wasn’t monitored. This did at times take away from the adult only feel that we had hoped for. The room was fairly basic but it was nice and large. The bed was extremely comfortable but there was a slight damp smell when entering the room. Our biggest frustration was noise. There were a few nights when live music was playing nearby until the early hours and it was so loud. Our last night it continued until 2am and we would hear the church bells at 6am every morning. Overall this is a good hotel with the potential to be exceptional and we really enjoyed our week.

Wonderful hotel, amazing staff, beautiful place! We stayed in the hotel for a week in July and absolutely loved it. The sun beds and beach at the front of the hotel was lovely and a great spot to relax. We didn’t even need to go into the pool when you had the sea right there for you. Sun beds were never overcrowded or busy, there was always space available. Milna was a small town but enough there to explore and enjoy, and a good range of restaurants. The staff at the hotel were 10/10, always happy to help, so friendly and really made the place even better. We chose to go for just breakfast included which has a nice range of breakfast food and good selection of fruit. Also ate the hotel restaurant for a few lunches/dinner and enjoyed all the food, would recommend veal rack. We had a 3rd floor room with a great balcony and sea view. We loved the hotel and the activity of all the boats coming in and out throughout the day. Super happy with the hotel and had zero complaints! We didn’t want to leave and would love to come back.

Perfect place for a quiet, get away from it all, holiday. Staff are outstanding, bedrooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast is tremendous. The hotel is built into the hillside so there are lots of stairs everywhere. Not a problem for me but worth bearing in mind.

We had the most amazing time at Osam Milna. Such a wonderful stay. The rooms are big, fresh and tidy. The people working there are simply the best. Help you with everything and want you to have a good time. Hotel is lovely and the scenery is simply stunning. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. Small tips is to walk, rent a bike or something to go to the other side of the bay as there is so many nice places to bath and swim with the turquoise water. Many good restaurants in the city. Milna is a lovely small city. Very calm and nice.

This is a really lovely hotel - a very relaxed vibe, with plenty of spaces to find a sun bed either right next to the sea or on one of the various sunbathing areas. The rooms are compact but have adequate storage space and are kept very clean, with fresh towels daily. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable and that, combined with a quiet, effective aircon system, meant we slept really well. We were on the third level with a sea view, and were very happy with the room. The food is good - wide selection for the breakfast buffet, reasonable choice on the half board menu for dinner and nice light meals for lunch. This is the one area where there’s room for improvement, however - the cooked breakfast items are lukewarm on the hot plate, and it would be nice to have a specials board at dinner with a fresh fish offering, for example. But that’s a small ******, and we would definitely come back - smiling, helpful staff, beautiful views, gorgeous sea swimming area and overall just a great place. Milna itself is quiet but has some lovely restaurants (highly recommend Navigare) and laying on the water’s edge watching yachts slide past to the marina is a very nice way to spend the day!

You really can’t fault this hotel!! The staff were lovely, the room was gorgeous and the food was amazing. Nice little walk into the marina with some great restaurants to choose from. Nice quiet little village. I really couldn’t fault this place. I highly recommend the hotel and the area !! We also booked this hotel as a package with Jet2 and everything was so organised and simple. No stress at all and flights were all on time. Can’t wait to come back !!

My friend and I made the basic mistake of not researching the price of taxis to get from island to island, which cost us the entire holiday. Once we’d arrived at the hotel, we were informed about the 2 ways of getting from Milna to Hvar. Quite evidently my friend and I were gutted, as this meant we couldn’t attend the events we had planned for throughout the week - understandably this is our fault. However, there was no reassurance from the hotel staff that we’d enjoy our stay in Milna and there was no mention of the type of nightlife this area brings. Don’t go to this island for nightlife! This area/hotel seems to be a place for couples to enjoy one an other … Overall, this is a very picturesque hotel with a lovely restaurant and a brilliant breakfast service. The quality of customer service could be improved, one evening I was told the hotel only provide irons at an additional cost? Very odd for a 4 star hotel.

Lovely spacious rooms, very clean as they were serviced every day. Very comfy beds. Even a decent hairdryer! Good views from third floor although 103 steps to climb, only a receptionist to help with bags on arrival. Good food in restaurant but recommend bed and breakfast, as dinner menu very samey but great choice at breakfast and constantly restocked. Milna has some great restaurants and a few bars all overlooking the marina, a short walk away. Hotel staff are very friendly, providing a great service. Hotel pool is small and mostly in the shade but fine as not many guests use it. Enough beds in the sun bathing areas and access into the sea via a very small rocky beach. Problem with locals using hotel beds in late afternoon with staff reluctant to ask them to move and glass, bottles and litter not collected from sun bathing area. Hotel is next to the petrol pumps where all the boats and yachts fill up, good fun watching them all queueing up and arguing if a boat pushes in, normally Thursdays and Fridays. Hotel is a short walk from local bus stop and a good healthy walk to other side of the marina. Milna is a pretty little village, beautiful sunsets, lovely people and there is no hassle from any traders. The yachting fraternity liven the place up in the evenings and it’s great for people watching and dreaming of owning a luxury motor cruiser. Brilliant holiday.
