We checked in at 9 pm on May 18 at your hotel to room 902. When we opened the door to the room the temperature was 80 degrees and the AC would not come on. We called the front desk and were told the AC was not functioning, but someone was working on it and that the AC should be fixed shortly. They told us we could pick up a fan, so we did. After a couple hours we were back in the room - no improvement. Temp was still 80, and the desk said that maintenance was working on the problem. The AC never was repaired during the night. We were very warm. We went to breakfast. The breakfast area and tables were very dirty. No one had cleaned them after guests had used them. We proceeded to check out and ask for the room to be no charge. The desk clerk said the best he could do was a 30% discount. This was accepted, but under protest. The manger was missing in action. No calls went through to her. her voicemail is full. She did not return calls. What a terrible way to run a hotel. At your front desk the Hampton statement was there - 100% satisfaction guaranteed - what a joke!!!
