Travelodge by Wyndham Milwaukee

Service at the front desk for check-in was great, however our room had a terrible odour and was very dirty. Dust, hair and filth on the floors, on the desk lamp and behind bed. It was noisy in the parking lot at the back and not very well lit. Price was reasonable and very close to the airport, but we would never stay again. Did not feel safe at all.

The whole experience was good except for the fact that it is under construction so the ice machine doesn't work the room was dirty when I got to it there was trash under the couch, it basically had to be cleaned so we had to clean it ourselves. And the restaurant that's attached to the hotel is a rip off but other than that it was decent.

The service Trip.com Chatbot provided was terrible:I woke up with bites all over my feet and ankles and legs. The bathroom had food and garbage on the floor. I am so dissatisfied with my stay. I have photos of the bites. And the bathroom was so dirty I couldn’t believe this. The shower tub and walls are deteriorating-

I had to have my room switched twice because mice were running around my room, the hot water barley worked and when I woke up late because I was up all night terrified of the mice scurrying through my stuff they sent up 2 maids to wake me up then proceeded to hurry me out of the room. I couldn't shower or anything. They were more concerned about getting it clean for the next person but the rooms are disgusting no one should be staying in Any of then!!! I asked what they were gong to do for the 3 nights of no sleep I've had, no internet ect and the woman Manger told me nothing and that's exactly what they did nothing!!! Extremely disappointed and outraged!!!

Never stayed at hotel.

Manager said that nobody can stop by in my room even for a minute, because only single person allowed. Her behavior was unacceptable rude and vulgar. I did not wanted stay in that dirty hotel for more then couple of minutes, then immediately returned keys to front desk and quit. They have to return me room rate or I will dispute with my credit card bank.

We found ***** all over the room, the door to adjoin the rooms did lock. The outside security door didn’t work. Smelled like a soup kitchen, but with bad soup. No breakfast or even coffee. And just as a kicker, the sliding glass door looked like someone threw their turd at it and it splattered there.

The toilet was broke the furniture had tear in it so they moved us to another room that toilet did not work the hair dryer was broken so my wife could not shower when she woke up the carpet was stilldirty when we were moved to the second room and we only had 2 outlets that worked in the room

I was surprised that this was a Wyndham-affiliated hotel. I’ve stayed at Wyndham hotels before and they have always been nice. Based on those stays I didn’t check the reviews on Trip Advisor, which seems ironic since I post reviews myself on this site. From the time I pulled into the driveway, I knew this hotel was run down. The outside needed painting, and the grass needed mowing and weeding. When I pulled around to the back to park my car I had to navigate potholes. Unfortunately, I had paid for my stay in a car/hotel bundle and couldn’t leave. I paid to stay for 4 nights. Having come to stay after being in Europe, I needed a hotel that offered breakfast, laundry facilities, a hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board. It also needed to be close to the airport. I needed a soft place to land. On the website, this hotel met my criteria. The website was wrong, breakfast was not included. Instead of breakfast, you are given a two-dollar discount to eat at the bar/restaurant that is attached to the hotel and has the same owner. When I checked out the washing machine near my room, I discovered that the washing machine was not working. I made do with the clothes I had for a few more days. The room needed painting, the furniture was old, except for the television, and the lamps on each side of the bed were rusty. I enjoyed the bed, I slept very well on it. The chair in the room had so many stains on it that I didn’t dare to sit on it. The curtains had multiple marks and they appeared to be very dirty. The balcony was dirty and also needed painting. In the bathroom, there was no plug in the bathtub, so if I wanted to take a bath, I would not be able to do so. Also, the caulking around the bathtub had black marks on it. I was unsure if the black marks were mold or dirt. I made the mistake of using the iron on a white jacket I planned to wear to a wedding without checking the bottom of the iron first. Yes, the iron left a black mark on the jacket making the jacket unwearable to the event. Hotel management was made aware of my concerns.
