Unfortunately, scaffolding covered the lovely lobby. I'd looked forward to seeing it. The staff was Amazing- helpful & friendly!

spectacular property, superb service, simply divine experience! We were on our way back from the Mayo Clinic to our home in Chicago and stopped in Milwaukee to spend a night at the Pfister. It was just what the doctor ordered!

Beautiful pre-turn of the century hotel with wonderful 19th century paintings. Undergoing some refurbishment but little impact. Rooms really top rate. Staff were all courteous, aware and accommodating (tho I was a little nonplussed that they would only give is a 1/2 hr late checkout). Short walk to public market.

We stayed at the Pfister for my birthday. It was fantastic. It's such a beautiful place. We stayed in the old section and the room was very quiet and peaceful. The high tea was a lot of fun. I can't wait to stay again. The customer service was the best I have ever experienced!

Everyone was friendly, kind and super accomadating. I would highly recommend for any trip to downtown Milwaulkee.

A short business trip brought me to the area. The hotel location was perfect and a few minutes' walk to the shopping/eating area. My hotel room was bright and airy- overlooking Lake Michigan. What a magical sunrise! I cannot wait to come this summer to further explore the area!

I was at the Pfister for a conference this week. I've stayed in a lot of hotels all over the world and I found this establishment to be the cream of the crop. From the moment we walked in the door, I was blown away by the hospitality and the beauty of the lobby (even with scaffolding and renovations in progress). The staff is amazing and the room and all conference rooms, lobby, restaurant and bar absolutely first rate. A real gem! Kudos to management and everyone on your team!

My husband and I spent a night in our hometown and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pfister Hotel. The staff at the front desk, Dina and Jack, were cheerful and professional. We were offered champagne at check in and bottled water at check out - a nice touch. The hotel is beautiful with original works of art throughout. It is going through some renovations so scaffolding and tarps obscure some of the interesting interior architectural features. We spoke to the artist in residence who displayed her original quilts. She is a great ambassador for her art and the Pfister in general. We spent some time in the pool area on the 23rd floor mostly just viewing the beautiful lakefront and the city of Milwaukee from above. Blu is the name of the lounge on the 23rd floor with floor to ceiling windows. The view is spectacular at night. Our server shared her knowledge of the historic buildings surrounding the Pfister. We enjoyed breakfast at the cafe and purchased some delicious pastries to take home before checking out. Our short vacation in the city we live in was very enjoyable. From the always friendly and courteous staff to the room accommodations, the Pfister Hotel is second to none in Milwaukee.
