Very emotional hotel, downstairs is a bar and restaurant. The rooms are upstairs, very clean, decorated with personality and modern. It is very comfortable to live in. The smell of his toiletries is my favorite.

A very old building with touch of class and lots of history. Clean, nice choice of beverages at the bar. Rooms were large and comfortable with nice size bathrooms and shower. I would stay again.

The staff was fantastic from the door to the desk to the restaurant to the bar. Room was super, view was great. Decor was beautiful in the hotel very welcoming and wanted to stay and enjoy the sofa or the reading room or to have a drink.

While also working in hotels and the Hospitality industry I was so impressed with the attention and care the Iron Horse staff provided! Design concept and rooms were amazing, staff exceptional, and great F&B options. I would come back to Milwaukee just to stay here!

What a charming experience - from the first impression walking in the door (the warm masculine scent of the lobbyl! the gentleman who greeted us at the Front desk! The rooms!) we were treated like cherished guests. The ambiance and decor throughout is enjoyable and inviting. The service from the staff is topnotch. During our visit we had the pleasure of speaking with the Hotel GM and many of their staff, who all went above and beyond to make our tiny group feel welcomed. From cool bourbon drinks by the hearth in the restaurant to great lattes at breakfast, they gave us a first class experience all the way through.

Wow! Ann Marie and Emma are incredibly responsive, thinking through every detail of our event to ensure we had a memorable experience. We have a discerning group of travelers (tough to impress), and received rave reviews on the detail and character of the Iron Horse along with its very friendly, knowledgeable staff. We are all looking forward to returning!

This hotel is absolutely amazing! I visited with a group of coworkers (we work in hotels) and we were absolutely blown away with the service and attention to detail from the staff. Ann Marie our Sales manager was great and Alan the GM took amazing care of our group. The Iron Horse has become our new go-to in Milwaukee and we will be back.
