国道から木立の中に入った途端、別世界に通じる気分になります。 周りになにもないので、疲れた時には適した場所だとおもいます。 夕食のフレンチも 程よい味と分量で楽しめました。 温泉でなくても ゆっくりとおふろに入り、暖炉の火をながめ、ぜいたくな夜です。 次の朝は 汗をかきかき高原ヒュッテに向かいました。 だれも歩いていなくて、景色を独り占め。 秋は また別の美しさがあるのでしょうね。 紅葉を思い浮かべて またたのしみます。

夏の間は仕事で疲れてしまい、ようやく時間が取れた時、自然の中で一人でゆっくりしたくて選んだのがこちらのホテルです。 別荘地の森林の中にあるため、余計なノイズは全くしません。あるのは静かな客室と緑、周辺の広大な遊歩道だけ… チェックインをしたら、まずは森林の中の遊歩道を散歩し、八ヶ岳高原ヒュッテでコーヒーをいただき、外から音楽堂を眺める。 夕食をいただいた後、芝生の上で満天の星空を双眼鏡で観察。今までこんなにたくさんの星を見た事はありませんでした。 朝起きたら、朝食前に美鈴池まで散歩。 朝食はふわふわのオムレツと新鮮なお野菜とフルーツをレストランのテラスで…。 遊歩道は山の中なのにとても緩やかで、最近は首の病気でトレッキングを諦めていた私も負担なく歩くことができました。いくつかコースがあったので、今度は他のコースにも行ってみたいと楽しみが増えました。 宿泊者は上品な大人の方ばかりで、私にとってはだいぶ背伸びをした形になりましたが、心地よく気取ない雰囲気にファンが多いのかなと感じました。また行かせていただきたいです。

久しぶりの再訪です。相変わらず、山中の別世界にある高原リゾートでした。今回も宿泊はせず、ランチと午後のコンサートを楽しみました。カジュアルレストラン「花暦」のランチは2000円～3000円程度のお手軽価格。 食後は八ヶ岳高原ヒュッテまで散策して、ティールームでお茶を楽しんだ後、いよいよお楽しみのコンサートへ。私たちが聴いたのは、地元のカラマツ材で作ったチェンバロのソロコンサートでした。 ホテル併設の八ヶ岳高原音楽堂は、吉村順三建築の素晴らしいホールです。色づく森の木々の風景をバックにした美しいステージを眺めながら、清らかなチェンバロの音色に酔いしれる至福のひとときでした。45分で1600円という破格のお安さ。お席は自由席ですが、小さいホールなのでどこに座っても通常のS席クラス。奏者は若い方ですが、東京芸大卒の確かな腕の持ち主でした。そもそもチェンバロのソロコンサートそのものがかなり珍しいうえに、とても近い距離で聴けるのでほんとに有難い催しです。チェンバロコンサートは月に1回程度、開催されています。小・中学生は無料です。野辺山駅からは無料送迎バス（要予約）があります。
