Kurokawa Onsen Ryokan Wakaba was enough time to restore my tired mind and body. The scent of locust filled the room, and I felt nostalgic even after returning.

Very good, clean and elegant rooms, friendly and enthusiastic staff, can communicate in English, and the waiter can speak simple Chinese. The room I stayed in was 103 Chrysanthemum, which has its own private hot spring in the suite. You can soak as long as you want. Food and beverages are also delivered to the room. The small tea room is very cute.

Excellent service by the staffs! Very warm and welcoming. It was raining heavily that day, but one of the staff helped to wipe down our luggage when it wasn't necessary and helped to bring it up to the room as we were too early for check-in. When we came back, the luggages were near a heater for quick drying... just a neat detail that we very much appreciated.
The dinner and breakfast were one of our most delicious and memorable meals in Japan. Words are not enough to describe it!
The outdoor hot spring doesn't have much a view, but it was still nice! Hope I am able to come back and enjoy the ryokan experience again!
