I had stopped by Kurokawa on a bus tour before and had such great memories, so when I heard that the weather forecast said it would rain a lot during this trip, I suddenly decided to go to Kurokawa! It was a day before, so there were almost no accommodations left, so I happened to pick this place in a hurry because it was a good value for money place to stay alone! I enjoy traveling to Japanese hot springs whenever I have time, and have been staying in places like Yufuin, Beppu, Hita, Takeo, Ureshino, Saga, and Kumamoto, but this sudden trip was an excellent choice! First, I got off at the bus terminal and walked, and I was so grateful that they kindly welcomed me with a lot of luggage and shared my luggage with me, so I gave them a small gift. There were many cute and thoughtful props and pretty centerpiece flowers placed all over the place. It was cozy and healing! (Google Maps said it was a 15-minute walk, but it continued downhill along the road, so it wasn't difficult to drag the carrier, and it felt like 10 minutes! When you enter the village, you have to go up a steep slope, so it's easy to get there if you follow the road and come down in a circle! Of course, pick-up service is provided. If you apply for a bus, it will be done at the time you want, so when I went to Hakata, I used a shuttle bus, and it was very convenient and nice because it dropped me off right in front of the bus stop.) The tatami room looked small in the photo, but it was bigger than expected, the space was well utilized, and the tatami was well maintained, so it was comfortable without any smell even when it was raining. ! I was worried when I booked the room because there was only a smoking room, but it didn't smell like cigarettes at all, and the view of the open scenery outside and the village shopping street below the veranda was lovely! The welcome tea, green tea, had a deep and clean taste, and the rice cake was not too sweet and chewy, so it suited my taste well! On the day I stayed, the bathhouse was an open-air bath with a wooden shower with two seats. It was cute and had props, and the combination of wood and stone was healing. Above all, the smell of sulfur was strong, which may have been because it was close to Mt. Aso, but it was more natural. It felt like a hot spring, and it felt smooth and detoxifying, so I liked it! The open-air bath was very pretty, but I wasn't allowed to take pictures, so I just took pictures of the path along the way, and it was cute and very pretty! It's small, but it didn't overlap with more than one person, and maybe because they were considerate of each other, there was almost no overlap, so I used it 3 times, but twice I used it alone! Above all, the reason I recommend this hotel is that the kaiseki is so delicious! I've eaten at many places, but I think it's number 1 or 2! There were many places where the side dishes or appetizers weren't to my taste, but the yuzu aperitif, appetizers, and dessert all exceeded my expectations for the price! The beef rice bowl was soft and the wasabi, egg, and sauce went together really well! The dessert rice cake and fruit were sweet and delicious! The next morning, I was so happy and delicious! It was a healing meal time with the view outside! Thank you again to the pretty and cute staff who spoke good English, who explained everything in English, brought a large bottle of ice water to the room when I said I needed it, and even helped me make a reservation for the shuttle bus! It was a happy time because I was able to leisurely look around the village, see the night view of Usan-gil, and enjoy the hot springs while staying here! One thing I regret is that the main meal for the two dinners included in Trip.com was beef rice bowl, but I definitely want to try the grilled set next time^^ The hot springs at the hotel were so good that I only went to one more place, but I wasn't able to complete the seal, so I'll stop by again in 6 months. I will! I was surprised at how cute the air freshener you put in the closet was, and again at how nice and cozy it was, so I would definitely buy it if it was sold at a ryokan! Thank you^^ See you next time^^

I went for additional breakfast and dinner. The facilities are old and worn, but it is a well-maintained ryokan. The hot springs are small, but if you do yumeguri (onsen meguri), it is not a big problem. The meal is excellent and it's a chance to try typical Washoku at a reasonable price. There are no suitable places to eat nearby (there are two, but one is Unagiya and the price is high, and one sells udon, etc., but it doesn't seem to be cheap), so all the staff are friendly and attentive to the customers. It is the best value for money.

Although the hotel is a little old, the Qitian open-air bath is very nice! So comfortable! Food and beverages are also abundant. It takes a few minutes to walk to the illuminated river, which is very beautiful!

Yes, we took a bus, but we saw a bus stop near the door. The only drawback is that the room does not have a separate shower room, so you can only go to the bathhouse to wash your hair. The food is good and the check-in is correct. The bathhouse is not very big. There are stairs opposite the hotel where you can visit. There is a small shrine. Turn left. There is an umbrella lantern festival at night, where you can check in. It seems like check-out is at 10:00, it would be nice if it could be later.

The price is not expensive, so the service is corresponding, the food is okay, and the price/performance ratio is normal
