The Japanese were so punctual. They picked us up at Kurokawa Station at 3 o'clock, not a minute late. We arrived at Kurokawa Onsen at 11:30 in the morning. They drove over to put our luggage at the hotel. We had dinner with the help of the wall. The taste depends on everyone's taste. Everyone has different tastes. The best one is the one that suits you. There are hot springs in the room and outside, divided into open-air and non-open-air. Overall, it was ok to stay for one night.

This is a small hotel located on the mountain in the Kurokawa Hot Spring area. The environment is quiet and the creek next to the hotel is beautiful. It is convenient for self-driving tours. There are only 8 rooms in the entire hotel, including 6 cabin-style rooms and 2 rooms in the main building. - There are rooms with open-air hot springs and indoor hot spring baths: 3 rooms in total - Rooms with open-air hot spring baths: 3 rooms in total - Rooms with indoor hot spring baths: 2 rooms in total When we booked the room, because the rooms with open-air hot spring baths were fully booked, we could only book rooms with indoor hot spring baths. Although the hot springs did not have outdoor views, the hot spring pools were very large, and both of us could still soak in them. Large space; the hot spring water has a strong sulfur smell and is hot enough to feel comfortable. Since each room has a private bath, there are no other people in the public baths. The staff has a very good attitude and is very polite from reception, introducing room facilities and serving meals. Breakfast and dinner are served in a private room, and sukiyaki is also available for dinner. The wagyu beef is very tender and melts in your mouth. In addition to sukiyaki, the sashimi and horse sashimi are also very fresh and delicious, making you very filling. The exquisite presentation of the breakfast will whet your appetite. Before leaving, the receptionist offered to take photos for us at the main entrance of the hotel, great! However, if I come to Kurokawa Onsen in winter to see the Kurokawa Onsen Yumei (the famous local light festival), I will choose to stay in a hotel near the visitor center, because it takes 8 hours to drive out from Onyuku Nohana to see the Kurokawa Onsen Yumei. The driving time is 30 minutes. Driving on a narrow mountain road is often dangerous when opposing vehicles have to back up to give way to each other.

I don't recommend it very much... I don't know how other hotels in Kurokawa Onsen are, but it seems extremely perfunctory among hot spring hotels of the same price in Japan. First of all, the whole hotel is very old and simple! There is nothing good about the scenery, and the interior of the hotel is not good-looking! The public facilities are only hot springs, nothing else. The room is very old, full of the unique smell of tatami and sulfur, which is very uncomfortable. As for the service, it can only be said to be barely up to the passing line. Anyway, there is basically no service during the stay, and it depends entirely on self-service. The taste of the food is also very average. Anyway, this kind of sweet food is definitely not accustomed to it. I will definitely not come to this hotel next time. It feels like an old hotel that is just for sleeping and taking a bath. It is completely unreasonable to sell it at this price.

The price is quite expensive, 6500 for two meals a night, the kaiseki cuisine is a bit low-end, it's better to have a set meal. The breakfast is OK. The biggest highlight is that there is a private bath in the room, which is quite convenient. It is a bit far from the town of Kurokawa, so you can only stay in the hotel. The service is very good, and communication relies on Japanese and English and translators. The privacy is very good, and you can hardly see other people when you walk around the hotel.

It was my first time to experience a Japanese hot spring. There is a private bath in the room, so you don’t have to worry about being embarrassed when going out for a bath. The price includes dinner and breakfast. The food is rich and delicious. I felt very comfortable staying for one night. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

The hotel is located on a mountain, so you must drive yourself or call the hotel shuttle bus. We emailed in advance to request a shuttle bus, but the hotel didn't show up. It is best to call the hotel on the same day to provide a shuttle bus. The room is large, with one indoor and one outdoor private bath. The environment is quiet, but the facilities are a bit old. The staff basically don't know how to communicate in English and can only communicate through a translator. 

We prefer a sense of privacy and a quiet vacation environment, so we chose Wild Flower Lodge in the mountains. This is a small hotel, and a major feature is that each room has a private bath, which is particularly valuable in the cold winter nights. The scenery in the open-air hot spring pool is also very beautiful. The men's and women's baths are exchanged every day, so you can enjoy the scenery from different angles. The staff's service during meals was friendly and not intrusive. The overall stay experience is quite good. The hotel will help us send our luggage to another hotel where we will stay the next day, which also makes it easier for us to wander elsewhere during the day.
