Motel 6 Mineral Wells, TX

The pile of cigarette butts at the entrance was a nice touch. The front desk repeatedly charging and crediting my card was a real pleasure. Waiting 5 days for clean towels was a great touch. The missed wake up call was par for the course for this place. And the attitude of the girl at the front desk that didn't give me a wake up call was simply tiring. Unprofessional, chaotic, rude and dirty. Save your time and money, skip the attitude, stay elsewhere...simply the nastiest little motel I've stayed at for years.

There was roaches, & the beds were dirty.

Everything was quick and convenient. Room was clean and ready upon arrival. Only experienced 2 issues TV not working and being double charged for the room.

This was the first and last time I'll stay at this place. The staff was nice, but not overly helpful. I needed a couple additional pillows- the clerk handed me two, but couldn't find the pillow cases. The place smelled like stale cigarettes, the sheets and curtails had holes in them, and the floors were gritty. There were holes that had been patched in the hallways, that haven't been repainted. The AC/heating unit was so used that buttons are basically blank. You are guessing at if you are turning on heat or AC. There was black electrical tape around the over flow valve in the tub. I didn't notice initially but there was ash from cigarettes on the window ledge, and a pile under the lamp-- that didn't work. When i went to leave, i spoke to the manager on duty and get some coffee. The manager apologized for the condition. I then went to get coffee, which was less than a cup left-- she wouldn't brew more until it was empty. I get it, it was going to overflow... but it was how she handled it. What I got was about half a cut of coffee, full of grounds. I took photos but it's not letting me upload them.

Hotel website images definitely do not reflect the actual condition of the room. I will never stay here again. The hotel has potential, but it hasn't been maintained. It's located near several stores and buisnesses. It smelled like cigarette smoke. Everything in the room was stained and dirty. The room was definitely not disinfected. Walls were filthy. Restroom sconces had bare light bulbs and exposed wiring. Curtains were dirty and frayed. Front desk wasn't very accommodating. It just overall felt gross and unsafe.

This place was filthy. My room had black mold growing in bathrooms and around and on ac. Could see outside through a crack where ac was. Staff acted high and weird. Scary place to stay.

Good, convenient place to stay

Very dirty and the facility is not taken care of and feels like a drug motel ! Everything is broke in the place and staff don’t seem worried one bit about it!
