Hyatt Place Minneapolis Eden Prairie

The room was spacious and clean. A separate area where the desk was placed that anyone can work privately. A small lake 5 mins walk away from the hotel that you can walk or jog. Exercise room was a bit simple and the coffee machine in the room wasn't working. Overall, a good place to stay and happy to go again.

The room was large, which was a bonus. As for the condition of the room, there were stains on the carpet and the one couch cushion had a tear. The room appeared to be clean other than the carpet stains. The A/C unit did not cool the room sufficiently and every 10 minutes or so it would click repeatedly as if it was having trouble turning back on. Even after setting the fan to continuous, the unit would not continue to run. I eventually had to turn it off so that I could try to get some sleep. We were on the 5th floor. Ice machines were located on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th floor, but the only working ice machine was on the 1st floor. The day of our check out, only one elevator was working. Breakfast was standard. There were hot and cold choices available.

I hesitate to write this because I don’t want it to become too popular and I won’t be able to get a room! We stay in the Twin Cities quite often, and feel like the Hyatt Place is a hidden gem. The room was spacious, we love that there is a separate sitting area from the bed and a work station. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Service by staff was excellent, very friendly. It was our first time staying there but we were welcomed as though we were regular guests. I wasn’t expecting much from the free breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of breakfast offerings. We will be coming back!

The two doube bed with a pull out couch was very roomy. The couch was so comfortable that we didn't need to pull out the bed. You had plenty of room to put everything without tripping over them.

I have stayed here for several years, foremost when been a victim in an assault case. Even as a lawyer, it doesn’t prepare you for what it’s like to be a victim. I was in over 90 hotel rooms as one hearing delay after another. I stayed at Hyatt for well over 15 stays. The initial friendliness of the staff from the first stay made me feel safe and valued. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. It is always clean, no issues w guests and loud neighbors. The breakfast is the best part.

The hotel location was very close to many stores and restaurants which I appreciated. The hotel overall was as expected.

we have stayed at this location many years when we come to visit our daughter, everything is great, when you stay here you get a reasonably priced comfortable room, and the staff is execellent as well.

1/5 just now on Google Very disappointed from when we first arrived, zero customer service skills/communication/greeting/eye contact except for one staff who I cannot remember his name but wished he was always working. Room smelled weird, carpets had stain marks everywhere & burn marks. The A/C kept us up all night long, every night. Not just your normal on & off sounds. Clicking non stop throughout the night. This made for a very tiring vacation & crappy coffee that didnt help. Breakfast was meh. Watery eggs & just bland. Back to the room… shower-head pipe sprayed water all over the bathroom. Only boiling hot water out of one tap so struggled with that washing hands & face in morning. I brought it to the attention to one of the staff but nothing was done. They were mostly on their phones & chatting away w out noticing guests coming & going. Pool was overflowing onto the walking area but that wasnt a big deal for us, just another thing added. Bare minimum was done in room… where the sign in the washroom states “its the little things that make a big difference” referencing the shampoo/cond/body wash; they were all empty. No lotion either. (Those little things!). I would not recommend nor will we stay here again. I believe my son got sick from the smell from the A/C or whatever is coming through there. Rm 313, Maybe thats why. : /

Room was cozy, everything was clean. We were 6 in aroom, we had enough beds but at times felt a little cramped. We were just there to take family members to airport in the morning so it was a good stay for the price but could use a little bit of modern updating.
