I had a bad experience here before but the roads were icy and slippery so I thought I’d give it another chance. WRONG CHOICE! Tom Bodette did leave the light on and it was staffed at least when I arrived. Room 214 was my room, door was open upon getting to the room. Door handle and security latch were broken, however the deadbolt did work. About 3:30am, a domestic argument starts up in the hallway and continues for hours. Since I was in the State of Death near the city of death called Chicago I did not leave the room or attempt to stop it. I guess 4 hours of sleep is pretty good at a Motel 6. Leaving at about 6am, no staff. Maybe thats why the domestic wasn’t addressed. Coffee in the lobby was ice cold. I won’t be staying here again. I will drive to Bloomington/Normal and pay more to stay in a safe, secure, and more accommodating hotel. Oh, and the bed had a thin sheet and thin comforter, bed was comfy, bedding ******.
