I was in Minot for a Lions Convention, and only needed an inexpensive clean room for two nights. I had stayed there for the last convention, before Covid, and the owner was in the process of fixing it up. When I checked in, the clerk said the log showed I had already checked in earlier. I was told if there was anything wrong with the room, they would take care of it. The room looked as someone had just checked out of it. I went back to the front desk and they gave me an apology, a different room, and an upgrade. The new room was fine and clean. There were no bath towels or washcloths, but they brought them up right away. The Hotel is suffering the same problems as many businesses, lack of employees. They have to split their staff between two locations. I don't hold that against them. The place has no extra amenities and because of that it was the cheapest place to stay, and only a block away from the convention hotel, which was over twice the price. It was fine for what I needed, and I would stay there again.

Well I didn’t stay at the Guest Lodge, I was there at 3 pm to check in and nobody showed up, ******* even tried getting in contact and still nobody. At around 11 pm someone had called me from the guest lodge to see if I was going to check in I had let the man know on the phone that ******* stepped in and got me another room. I would like my refund from the Guest Lodge, as I never got service there. It only seems right. I’m very displeased with the way The Guest Lodge handles there business and customers. Id Hope in the future no other customers have to go through this.

There was no toilet paper in my room, the sheets didn’t look clean as there were brown spots, and there were bed bugs

They had no staff, and it was dirty. I made the beds and cleaned the room myself. This place should be condemned.

This is not a hotel. It is a home for homeless people. Please do not come here thinking it's an economical hotel. We were worried when we first arrived, but once we got into our room we knew. We left immediately. Do NOT stay here!!

we reserved the only room available Saturday night for the Kane brown concert , when we checked in the smell was gross but I just thought it was an d building . So we went to our room and instantly I felt like I was in jail . I went to check the bed like I do at every hotel I stay in and there was long black curly hair , mascara all over the pillow case , what looked like blank lint all over our sheets and they were wrinklier then everl . I opened the fridge to put my chocolate milk in there and and instantly noticed not one but 2 dead bugs . I went to the front seat I told the lady I’m not one to complain but there’s dead bugs in my fridge and my sheets are dirty , she came to the room with me I showed her . She seems pretty disgusted herself so she *****ped my bed and brought me new sheets, by that time it was already 5 and we had to go so we didn’t make the bed . We got back to the motel around midnight and went to make our bed and noticed the sheets she brought us that she claimed were just out of the dryer looked like someone crapped the bed . I walked right back up to the front seat and some gentleman was sitting there , I told him how disgusting it was to have dirty sheets and I’m sure I said a few not so nice words , all of a sudden this lady comes out of nowhere telling me I needed to lower my voice and calm down , all while her hands are literally in my face . I told her it’s rude to treat guest like that and she needed to come see all this gross stuff in my room. . She did , brought new sheets once again and told me it was makeup . Okay cool . About a hour later I was so tired hit didn’t want to stay in the bed so my boyfriend and I went to our truck and literally slept in there. At about 630 am we came inside to grab our stuff and when I opened the fridge again there was a ear wig, that was it . Went back to the desk and asked to speak to the person who own me the motel because they need to see how their staff literally doesn’t clean . He laughed at me and told me “ that’s not going to happen “ and then proceeded to tell me “ for 50$ a night what do you expect , you basically get what you paid for PLUS this is a place people come to to detox . I asked him why does it matter who stays here , what kind of people I didn’t pay to sleep with bugs and dirty sheets . So j I’m said screw this and went outside talked to a few of the guest abs they told me they never clean . I went back inside once again and the girl who checked me in the prior night was giving me this awful look , I asked her if I could help her she then looked at Dude who was super rude about the filth situation and laughed ! She asked to see the bugs and said I’m lying , I then reminded her that she just saw the bugs less then 12 hours ago and she’s the one who brought me nasty sheets. It wasn’t even checkout yet , I believe it was almost 9 am before I asked them to leave my room since I’m still technically not checked out , the guy then told me I needed to leave . Defi

Oh my god, do your self a favour and don't stay here. When we checked in we were told by the man at the front desk that my credit card would be charged again when I checked out despite having paid already. We then went to our room. Toilet wasn't bolted down to the floor and no light in the bathroom. Shower didn't work and water alternated between scalding hot and ice cold. Bedsheets weren't clean so we slept in quilts and pillows from home. ********** outside our room. Public washroom smelled like a dead person in there (no exaggeration). No one on duty at front desk Friday. Someone checked us out so when we got back to the hotel we couldn't get in our room. Had to call a Texas number (paper left on front desk) to get someone to let us in. Cellie, who we spoke to on the phone was not someone who should be in the service business; she was abrupt and rude. Someone finally showed up to let us in. He tried to put us in a different room - the first smelled like vomit and urine. The second had a broken bed and multiple holes in the carpet. He said we were better off to stay in our room close to the desk where he can keep an eye on us (this left me terrified). Do your self a favor and stay somewhere else
