We discovered the hotel purely by chance and are delighted! It is an oasis of peace with a fantastic view. The extremely spacious rooms/junior suites are very well maintained and the comfortable beds guarantee the best night's sleep. We had a beautiful, shady garden seating area with direct access to the pool. The service is very courteous and personal. I was even delighted to find a gift from the hotel in my room for my birthday. The grotto next door offers a wonderful ambience and good food. If you want to leave your car in the hotel's free car park, you can reach Locarno in no time using public transport. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. We would love to come back!

You immediately feel at home in this wonderful boutique hotel. The owner fulfills your every wish, very attentively and with that certain something. The rooms are up to date and stylishly renovated. The view of the mountains and the lake is breathtaking! That's how I imagine hospitality in action. Compliments! Highly recommended...

Good communication before arriving at the hotel. As we arrived a little later than planned, our parking space was even reserved with a name display. Very friendly welcome - we were accompanied to our beautiful suite, where all the details were explained to us. Spacious room, modern furniture in white and wood colors, everything extremely clean. Enough towels available, both for the interior and for the pool area, to which we had direct access. Spacious bathroom with double sink, huge shower and double bathtub, plus a separate toilet with another sink. The many cupboards in the bathroom and living area offer enough space for a stay of several weeks! Comfortable beds with comfortable duvets - if you want smaller pillows, you can find them in one of the numerous cupboards. Cozy upholstered group with a beautiful glass side table and a large TV with many channels. Next to it is a separate table that can be used as a work table, for example - WiFi works perfectly. The kitchenette also offers a lot of storage space. Clean kettle and small Nespresso machine available; the container with coffee capsules, tea bags and cream capsules is refilled daily. The suite is equipped with an air conditioning unit, which can cool the room well when needed. Beautiful lighting in the entire suite and in the terrace-like outdoor area, which is accessible via a large sliding door, offers a lot of privacy and has the character of an Italian grotto. There are plenty of places to sit on the terrace at two different tables. The suite also has two comfortable lounge chairs and its own outdoor shower. The terrace is covered, so you can sit outside even when it rains. The plants around the terrace are reminiscent of a beautiful jungle. In just a few steps you can reach the small but nice pool to cool off. At reception you get good tips for dinner, including reservations at the restaurant of your choice. The room service is excellent. When we came back to our suite from breakfast in the morning, everything was always immaculately cleaned and tidied - simply great! The breakfast on the hotel's outdoor terrace exceeded our expectations - both in terms of the extremely friendly service and the freshness of the goods such as bread, cheese, meat and fruit. Delicious egg dishes are also prepared on request. There is always someone on site to ensure that coffee, tea, juice, etc. are replenished. If you want to treat yourself to a nightcap in the evening, you can get a fine tipple from the hotel's impressive wine cellar and simply note it on the minibar list. White and rosé wines can also be obtained from the refrigerator at reception. The minibar in the room is refilled daily, and fresh mineral water is also provided in the living room every day. What a great small, cozy family boutique hotel built against a mountain. First of all, a super warm welcome from the owner. Our rooms were fantastic. Everything was there. The finish was tip top and everything was spotless. Bathroom also modern with large walk-in shower and everything you need was there. The pool is small but well maintained and overlooking the lake. Surrounded by the grape vines. Very idyllic!! Terrace where breakfast is served, also very cozy. Breakfast was great. Egg is prepared as you wish. Fresh rolls and croissants and fresh fruit, different types of toppings. I recommend it to everyone!!

Beautiful, very large rooms (or suites) with perfect furnishings, fantastic views of Lake Maggiore, very quiet location. Locarno is a quick bus ride away. A real oasis for a relaxing holiday.

It is rare to find a hotel like this. If you are looking for a landscape and exceptional service away from the tourist hotels, this hotel can only be recommended. The friendly staff will make you feel at home. The large rooms and suites do everything to make you feel comfortable. We will be back soon!!!!!! And the best thing. The grotto next door - just great

Hotel on a human scale, a few rooms, quiet, magnificent view of the lake, pleasant terrace, friendly and very helpful staff. Very pleasant breakfast on the terrace. On the other hand, the room is impersonal, clean, functional but a little "cold", too Swiss-German for my taste, we would have liked more Italian charm. And above all the bedding is not up to 4* standard. Two completely independent single beds side by side even though we had reserved a double bed. With a kind of pancake as a mattress topper. For this reason alone we would not return. The swimming pool is small and poorly located, we don't really take advantage of it. Hundreds of television channels from many countries and not a single French national channel!
