Third time staying at the San Agustin Exclusive, very good location close to everything, staff a 10, special mention to Franklin Cruz always willing to assist and clarify our doubts, price - quality goes hand in hand. I want to suggest a remodeling of the facilities, rooms, bathrooms, stained and dirty breakfast room chairs. The highlight is the staff. I hope to return soon and find a new hotel. Hotel very well located in the Miraflores district, many restaurants, shops, exchange house within walking distance. The shopping center and the promenade along the ocean are 5 minutes away. Around 30 minutes to reach the historic center. Very clean hotel, spacious room and bathroom. Hearty and varied breakfast. We didn't have a problem with noise. Excellent local cuisine. good value for money. But beyond all that, I more than highly recommend this hotel for its customer service!!! In my eyes the difference is there, between all these hotels which are similar. We experienced an incident and the Customer Service Manager, Pilar, was exceptional, I assure you that the word is not an exaggeration. She accompanied us in all our procedures, all our trips, she actually spent the day with us from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., making numerous calls to find the right people and resolve our problems. We stayed in touch with her over the next few days as she wanted to make sure everything was okay. A big thank you to Nancy, the manager, who took care of all the costs of the day as well as in the week that followed, and who invited us ALL EXPENSES PAID, to another hotel in the chain, so that our vacation are not completely wasted. I have traveled extensively all over the world (for over 40 years.....) and I have never seen customer service go out of its way for its customers like this. Beyond customer service, I met two exceptional women, full of love and humanity, efficient without ever losing their kindness and smile. Well done! We were there with a group tour. Stayed there twice, a couple of nights at the beginning of the tour and a couple of nights at the end. The location is ok, easy walk to many attractions. That's were the positivity ends. We had two different rooms and each had their shortfalls. Our first room was spacious enough (beside/behind the elevator)but was dated and the bed uncomfortabley hard (for one of us lol). The room for the second stay was worse. It was small, very tight space so much so that we hurt ourselves while moving around the bed as the space between the bed and the wall was small. No side table for that close to the wall side. The bathroom was a step up from the floor of the room. So strange. We never bothered with breakfast as after the first day our group let us know it wasn't good and only the die hard breakfast people went for the meager offerrings and coffee. I suspect our breakfast bars and the instant coffee we brought from home were just as good. The hotel tried to supply dinner twice for our group. I suppose this was requested by the tour operator but the hotel should have been honest and told them they don't do dinner. The attempt was awful. Seriously, they provided such bad food and poor service even our tour provider had to find alternate arrangements for our second stay as the food they provided was an insult to food. There is a bar but is isn't open after 9:00 pm. We tried to get some wine but the staff don't speak english and they don't even know what they have. Overall if you expect a level of service beyond a roadside motel don't bother staying here. As we were there as part of a group I suspect they have great group rates.

The Hotel San Agustín is located in Miraflores, a very nice neighborhood in Lima, not far from Barranco. It is clean, the breakfast is of a medium-low level and the bathrooms have some problems (drip in the shower, hot water not always available). However, for any problem there is a very friendly and efficient staff. Mr. Franklin Cruz is capable of solving any problem and giving useful advice for tourists and those who are in Lima for work.

The rooms are very simple and do not require any type of maintenance, the beds are very small, the breakfast is not good and to top it off the reception staff does not know the word service like some people at breakfast. A very special thank you to Mr. Franklin Ruiz and the guys who open the doors at night, who are very helpful and attentive. Unfortunately for the people who do a very good job, but most don't, that's why this hotel cannot be recommended.

The service of the people was great, Specially the front desk girls. They work 24hrs, They make lunch bags if you have to go to a trip at dawn. Right in front there are 2 sea food restaurants, and a tourist information center (very helpful). Its close the main street and stores of Miraflores and the rooms and bathroom are very great. Something we didnt like was that at night or evening you hear all the street noises, perhaps they could instal anti-noise windows. Other than that, excellent stay!

Very good service, super friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom clean, large closet and good ventilation. It is a pleasant and cozy place, especially for the attention provided. They offer food that is also delicious and above all it is neat and clean.
