Awesome, Relaxing this is the perfect vacation spot… The food and drinks was fantastic

None of the restaurants were available. All were closed due to construction (which should have been disclosed to me but was not). The hotel staff mis-represented the charges of a room upgrade; all the outside pools were not heated. Horrible experience. We will not be returning. Very disappointed with this experience.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in early April 2024. It was recommended to us as one of the higher end hotels in the area. Having stayed in many high-end hotels, I heartily disagree with this now that we’ve stayed there. The fact that it was spring break and the place was filled with screaming kids and families who drove in from all over with 20 pieces of luggage each and their coolers and all their beach toys, etc.. made it even more unpleasant. The room was on the lower end of average. The wall mounted shower gel container in the shower was empty and never refilled. Our “partial ocean view” room looked out at a service area roof that had an empty vodka bottle on it. The room had no iron or ironing board, only a steamer. That the room has both a mini fridge and a microwave tells you that this is not in fact, a high end hotel, but is geared more towards families. I would compare it to a slightly nicer Holiday Inn . The decor is sorely in need of updating. As for positives, the valets were always so friendly, the concierge was also very helpful and friendly and we had a nice dinner at Segars steakhouse. It is close to the beach, although we never made it there and it seems there are probably many activities to keep young families busy and entertained. All in all I can say Hilton hotels are not properties I have ever been impressed with or care to stay at ever again.

We had a terrible time as a family of four. The food at the morning buffet was awful, dirty tables and cold tasteless food, not to mention the exorbitant prices. We ordered room service twice and waited an hour and a half each time. The water was freezing which is to be expected at the end of March, but the advertised heated pool was so small and filled to the brim with parents and their children. The water literally felt thick to the touch. There was no way it was sanitary. So we couldn’t even enjoy the pool. Meanwhile the larger pool was mostly empty due to the temperature. Is Hilton too cheap to upgrade both pools to heated? The indoor pool also had the thick water feeling, again, many small kids in diapers jam packed in the pool. The hot tubs are the size of ones you would see at someone’s house, 4 people max can fit comfortably. The beachside seating is overpriced and we were placed inches from other guests. We couldn’t even have a private conversation. We spent so much money and time to get here and we couldn’t wait to get back home. Look elsewhere!!! We could have gone to an all inclusive in the Caribbean for what we paid.

The spa was amazing and the location was perfect to watch the fireworks in Baytown New Years Eve.

We booked two rooms about 45 days in advance for 3 nights from March 25-28, 2024. My son and wife who are both physicians wanted to take a badly needed vacation. At the same time they wanted to have some time with their 4 year old son. So they asked us to go with them. We booked through ********** and booked two rooms with balcony and beach view (over $500 per room per night). Then we called the hotel directly and requested that we needed two rooms side by side or at least on the same floor so the boy can come and go between the rooms. We were told that that would not be a problem. The receptionist at that time put a note to that effect. But when we arrived, the front desk person said, they could not accommodate us on the same floor. No particular reason was given. So we asked if we could get another room anywhere on the same floor. Even if it is a downgrade, we would take it. At this point, one lady said, she would be able to do that. At that moment, someone who looked like a senior staff in khaki jacket and suit came and talked to them. All of a sudden all the front desk disappeared into the back. About five minutes later, a new lady (Mira Carrera) came up and said, there is no way they can accomodate us. I asked her what her name was, then immediately gave me a business card so rudely. She said we booked our hotels through a third party and they cannot answer questions about any information they had given us. We asked them if there is any indication of our request when we booked. She said, yes there is a request, but that is only a request, but our business comes first, so we accomodate our guests based on our business need. We were upset, but the little boy was the one most disappointed. Finally, they agreed to move my son and family to our floor the next day, but gave them only a few minutes to move. The boy got sick the next day, and was sleeping. So the parents decided not to move. To be short, to this location, profit and business come first before promise and family needs. Don't go there expecting anything other than an expensive resort style business where even a bottle of water costs three times. I have been a Hilton Honors member for over a decade (member number 618879004) and travel all over the world. I have never had such a bad and rude customer service anywhere in the world. To add to that, the breakfast at their restuarant is unappetizing and boring, the same egg and bacon and sausage breakfast everyday. Sorry for the long review, but it was needed for others to get an idea of what you are getting.

Great place cant wait to return, ideal location, right outside of Destin, but beautiful white sugarery sand. Big rooms, balconies and spacious suites. Cant beat. Great breakfast and lots of pools and had 6 restaurants on site. What an experience and beautiful beach

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views. Staff was friendly, helpful and plentiful. If we needed anything they responded right away. Room was clean and beds comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub even on chilly February evenings. We also were thankful for the discreet staff (most likely security) that we noticed walking around occasionally at night when we were outside without many others. Felt very safe for traveling as two women and both their daughters.

Just checked into a first floor beachfront executive King room (148) and sliding glass door lock does not work. Front desk calling engineers but can’t say when they will get here. What a way to start a vacation! I guess we are confined to the room until someone shows up.
