Nice place. Nice ambiance apart from musky smell which is I guess due to Restaurant BAR that they have with random visitors coming in but loved the stay. Kids enjoyed pool. Nice view of bridge and river covered in ice.

My family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the Travel lodge in Miramichi. We chose to stay here as most hotels for 2 rooms in the area are overpriced.
We were satisfied with our choice, it had all the amenities, wonderful view, the rooms are all updated, nice pool, the staff are really accommodating/friendly and the restaurant on site was really good.

We visited here the evening of April 7th. The Hotel was clean, but it is an older building and it shows. We were not aware there were not any elevators. My wife has great difficulty on stairs and it would have been helpful to know that that the second floor was not very accessible. With the hotel being fully booked we did not have much choice after arriving. We were also disappointed that the lock for the outside door closest to our room was broken and we could not use our keycard to get in that way. It made for a lot more walking for my wife and it was a hassle to bring in our luggage and take our pet outside. We mentioned this to the front desk and they said it was being looked at, but it was still not fixed when we checked out the next day. Finally the evening we were there the pool was unexpectedly closed. I understand that things happen, but when you make your booking decision based on the availability of a pool, it was disappointing to get dressed for the pool and find a sign on the door. We asked the front desk if 7:30pm was an accurate time for it to reopen. They said it would likely be sooner and took our room number and promised to call when it opened. No one ever did. Based on these factors we did not feel we received value for the amount we paid.
