Calendar Cottage Bed & Breakfast

Absolutely the best little B & B ever!! We stayed with Anna & Mike for 6 nights and they were the most wonderful hosts and very keen to make sure your stay was as perfect as could be. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything was spotless and the room was spacious and quiet. The beds and pillows were so comfortable really appreciated. Bliss! The breakfasts were very plentiful and were adapted to your requirements. Brilliant job Mike! Anna kept us well informed of all we needed to know regarding the area and so much more. Thank you Anna. Overall a top class and sumptuous stay. Very highly recommendable.

Treated ourselves to another lovely stay at Calendar Cottage. Anna and Mike are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. The bedrooms are quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated with a tray of teas and coffee, with fresh milk available. Mike does a fabulous vegetarian cooked breakfast. All in all, a gem of a B&B, full of the personal touches that make a stay really special.

I felt very welcome at this B&B, I was greeted on arrival and each morning, the hosts: Mike and Anna, chatted away about the area and the cottage, and were interested in my plans. I was sad to leave when my holiday came to an end! The cottage was super cosy, quiet and peaceful. The room was extremely comfortable and a very welcome retreat from the cold winter weather of March. The room had a large kettle and was stocked with so many different teas and hot drinks. Fresh milk was provided in a flask everyday which was perfect for enjoying a hot chocolate before bed! The breakfasts were excellent. Fresh and beautifully presented. I'd recommend having the eggs: they come from the hens in the garden! Anna and Mike asked for my preferences before and during my stay, so I was spoilt for choice. Given the location just outside of Crewkerne, this property is brilliant for a relaxing stay and so close to plenty of walking routes. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes within 20 minutes to all the nearby villages and towns. There is a driveway for parking. There are lovely cats at this property - and it was wonderful to sit with them in the lounge for an hour each morning, they are very friendly cats and will come over to be petted. A huge thank you to Anna and Mike for a wonderful stay. The cottage was lovely;different, warm, cosy and comfortable with a lovely cared for garden. My room was large with a beautifully welcoming cosy bed. The room had a great view of the garden with a lovely window seat. The en-suite shower room was clean,well equipped and modern. However the hi light of the stay was the breakfast. The best I have ever had. My congratulations to Mike for his hard work. Anna was a welcoming and charming host who really enhanced my stay. I’d love to go again it’s in a wonderfully pretty quiet area.

We spent a couple of nights here while visiting our daughter, who lives in Crewekerne. Lovely room, nice ensuite, well stocked refreshments (including filter coffee). The breakfast, cooked by Mike's fair hands, was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely stay with impeccable hosts. We will be back!

A beautiful cottage B&B with gorgeous bedrooms that had everything you could ask for: extremely comfortable bed, speciality tea and coffee, gorgeous chocolates and biscuits and both still and sparkling water. Breakfast was tasty and plenty! Again, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, a full English breakfast topped off with honey, jams and marmite. You have the added benefit of a really cosy sitting room and a pretty garden with some funky looking hens. Many thanks to Anna and Mike for the hints and tips and making us feel so welcome

Stayed here three times now,always enjoyed it, Mike and Anne are great hosts. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is a triumph! This has become our base when visiting the region we will return.

What a treasure of a BnB. Our stay was truly enjoyable, and we felt like we were being treated with the scrummy breakfast, lovely in room refreshments and a lovely room. Great value. Highly recommend. X
