Great hotel for an affordable price. The location is fantastic right off the interstate. Rooms are very clean and common areas are well-kept. Breakfast was excellent. The facility is older, but very well-maintained. Internet was exceptionally fast as well. I was getting 120 download speeds and 30 upload via Wi-Fi in my room; plenty for my business computer needs.

Gracious host. Basics generally OK. Facility somewhat aged. Blankets a bit thin. Pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast adequate. Met our expectations.

Great stay!!! I really enjoyed the thunderbird lodge. Great location. Clean. Wonderful stay. Appreciated the kind service. Hot tub accessible. The thunderbird lodge has been my choice for several visits to Mitchell, SD. Dogs are welcome and space in rooms is good for pets.

I stayed at the Thunderbird about 8 years ago and was hesitant to do it again, but I saw good reviews. It has definitely been updated! What a difference! The property is old, but was very comfortable and has a microwave, refrigerator, & coffeemaker. No breakfast but the price is definitely right. I would stay again.

We are a family of 7 and usually have to book 2 rooms to accommodate us. Not so at the Thunderbird Lodge with their generously sized Family Rooms. The staff was friendly and courteous, rooms and grounds were very clean, and fresh fruit at breakfast was appreciated. Bedsheets were a bit pilly and scratchy, but that is my only complaint. Excellent stay for the price!

Room is clean and comfortable with updated furnishings. Complementary breakfast has a nice variety of choices. I would highly recommend to travelers looking for a comfortable room at a reasonable price. Management was friendly too. Thank you Thunderbird Lodge!

The bed was comfortable, there is surprisingly a massage chair in the room! The AC and sink are brand new! The TV is huge!!!!!! Great stay and Id recommend everyone to stop here is going between Sioux Falls and rapid city, no point in paying a lot of cost at those city
