Akti Hotel & Apartments

We spent a week here and would not hesitate to return. We were made to feel very welcomed by Dimitra and Theo and they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was lovely with beautiful views from the balcony and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful island!

Really great people: Super friendly service. What more can I say? An absolute pleasure to stay there. It was especially nice to have the local town, more or less, to ourselves. Of course the end of the season does mean that a lot of places are closed, but it's well worth it to avoid the crowds.

Our 10 th visit to one of the greek islands, and without comparison the one with the greek hospitality at its best. The family are very friendly, we were welcomed like we were old friends. Clean everywere, nice breakfast, peaceful and lovely, the personal service and nice rooms. We love the term Pet friendly hotel, and the cats and the dogs living there made the atmosphere even nicer. The transport service in to the city were also greatly appreciated. If we are ever to return to Mysolvos, Akti will be our first choice, like a home away from home.

Great family holiday with son and his friend. Dimitra and Theo make everything feel like nothings too much trouble. Food at the hotel is excellent. The shuttle into molyvos is really appreciated and Lesvos itself is a real hidden gem. We plan to return!

Just returned from a 14 night holiday in this lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, the family Dimitra & her son Theo cannot do enough for you & are so friendly & welcoming. The hotel is in a relaxing rural position but only a few minutes walk to the nearest pebble beach which is opposite the hotel Aphrodite over the road. This hotel has a lovely beachfront taverna. Beautiful Molyvos with it's pretty wisteria covered cobbled streets is around a 25 minute walk or you can opt to take the courtesy bus which runs from the hotel 4 times a day, this was a lovely touch. Petra and Anaxos with their dark sandy beaches are just down the coast, the little land train takes you there from Molyvos centre or there is a taxi rank. If you are looking for a family run friendly small hotel in beautiful countryside surroundings on the outskirts of a truly authentic greek village then do not hesitate to book this hotel. We will return.

From the moment we arrived we felt at home and completely relaxed. Dimitra and her son Theo were so warm and welcoming, always a smile on their faces and so willing to help in any way. They made the holiday great. The pool and bar are lovely and although we were further out of Molivos than we expected the walk in was lovely, there were always the shuttles if you didn't want to walk and a beach less than 5 mins walk away at the hotel across the road, which is in the family and welcomes guests of the Akti to use their sunbeds on the beach or at their pool along with their poolside terrace restaurant. Molivos was absolutely beautiful with plenty of lovely restaurants, we never had a bad meal! The food is very reasonably priced and most is produced on the island. Thank you Dimitra and Their for making our holiday so enjoyable!

This was our first family holiday abroad and it couldn't have been any better. Theo and Dimitra couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and welcome. Dimitra even gave us lifts in her own car, made our daughters exactly what they wanted for dinner and generally made it a brilliant holiday. Theo equally went above and beyond especially for our daughters. The pool is lovely, the food great and the location stunning with a regular free bus in to the gorgeous town. It never felt busy or rushed and just has such a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend Akti, you won't be disappointed.

This may have been our 15th visit to the island but it was our first stay at The Akti Hotel. The journey in included a change of coach after about an hour but it didn’t dampen our spirits as we’d been on countdown since March when we booked. Quite a few of us got off the coach but Dimitra sorted us all out with military precision and had us in our rooms in no time…2 weeks of sun worship, eating and drinking had begun! Our room - number 106 was small but perfectly adequate for me and the better half…the free air con was a Godsend…we then met the charming Theo and the hotel having a shuttle bus at set times during the day was a great touch, especially with hill we would have had to walk up without it! I made breakfast a few times and was impressed everyday with what was available. Never had jelly for breakfast before! Brand new sun beds with a 6 inch cushion were incredibly comfortable and due to that I was napping constantly throughout the day. Pool is a good size and the all important bar - manned by Theo - is only a few steps away. We ate a few times and the food was excellent at all times. Already contemplating next years holiday and a return to The Akti is a possibility. Especially as I left a Por Noodle on top of the wardrobe! I’m now wishing I’d taken Theo’s offer of a job and stayed. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending The Akti to either new or return visitors.
