Good location, lots of mosquitoes. I left my driver's license at home, so I got around by bike, which actually turned out to be better. You can visit 5 or 6 beaches within 30 minutes. There are absolutely no convenience stores nearby, so you need to bring your own food.

I stayed four nights: two nights in a Japanese-style triple room and two nights in a single room. The guesthouse was old, but the price was reasonable and excellent value. Staying here was very relaxing, which was rare. You can rent electric bicycles, motorbikes, and bicycles, and order breakfast and dinner at reasonable times. The landlady was really great. I recommend not riding bicycles on Miyako Island; the many hills will be exhausting. At least use an electric bicycle. My Japanese-style triple room was on the first floor. The room was spacious, had good air conditioning and a fan. The bed was already made with a very soft mattress, and there was a modern power outlet and phone holder. The area next to the room was a common area, so it was noisy with people, kitchen clattering, and creaking floorboards. The kitchen was very functional and had everything you needed. The room locks were small padlocks. The washing machine was free, which was great. The flushing system outside the door was very strong. All my gear and clothes were quickly cleaned after snorkeling. The single room on the first floor was much quieter and had better lighting. The room was much larger than in the photos, with a small sofa, desk, and shelves. Unfortunately, the bed was very hard.

I highly recommend this guesthouse. It's simple and clean. There's nothing fancy or flashy, and no fancy facade. But it's a place where you can really relax.

The owner's wife was very helpful and attentive, making it a place I would definitely visit again. Since it's a renovated old house, some preparation is necessary. Most of the facilities are in good condition, but acceptable. The water purifier is a high-performance device, providing delicious and satisfying water. It might be a good option for a 1-2 day stay during a multi-day trip. If the weather is nice, the view of the stars from the second floor might be beautiful. Thank you.

We stayed there as a family of four, including two elementary school-aged children. If possible, it's best to stay for multiple nights and include breakfast. The children loved it. The female owner is very kind and will tell you all about the island, so I recommend talking to her actively. It's a bit far from the airport, but you'll be able to enjoy the island's atmosphere. There's also a famous beach nearby that you'll enjoy.

Although the weather was bad on this trip, everyone was very kind and taught us a lot, so my husband and I had a great time on this trip.

Very hospitable hostess Izumi-san. Just for such a reception you can give it a 10. We felt at home. The room had everything you needed. We also had a large terrace at our location. One of the island's beaches is nearby, there is also a bus stop and two grocery stores nearby. We'll be happy to come back again.
