I stayed in May with my husband and one medium-sized dog. In addition to the pet fee (3000 yen), there is an additional charge of 1500 yen per person, which is 6000 yen more than if there were no pets. I knew about the fee and made a reservation, but I was skeptical that there was no etiquette box for pet excrement. I checked, but the inn says "Take your garbage home", and it seems that there is a system to take your pet's excrement home with you. I've stayed at a number of hotels that allow pets, but I was surprised to find that every other hotel had an etiquette box on the premises, which I thought was normal. I understand that the additional fee is the cleaning fee for the facility that the pet has soiled, but in that case, I would like you to also dispose of the excrement. Also, the cleaning was sloppy, and there was garbage and dust everywhere, so I didn't feel clean. There were also cigarette butts left on the terrace that guests didn't know when they stayed. "I'm glad we didn't have to stay consecutive nights." The pillow cover had been washed, but it smelled so bad that I wondered when the pillow was dried. No amenities at all. There was only soap in the bath, and there was not even a rinse-in shampoo. If you are considering staying, we recommend that you come prepared.
