Maistra Select Mlini Hotel

This hotel is absolutely stunning. Modern, very clean with big spacious rooms with views looking out over the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There is a pool at the sister hotel next door which is less than 3 mins walk which was also great. Cleanliness was outstanding throughout. Buffet breakfast was also amazing, had everything you could think off plus you could have whatever you wanted made fresh. Mlini is a beautiful little town and the hotel sits right at the harbour where the views were spectacular. We also had dinner one night and the food was great. The airport is 15 mins away and Dubrovnik old town is also 15 mins away. We used Ubers to get around and again, had great services from all the rides we got. If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would and cannot wait to go back and experience the relaxing a**osphere of it again.

As outlined below in another review, I would think twice about booking this hotel. Made a booking in January 2024 for a 10 night stay, only for it to be cancelled this month without any sort of warning or explanation. I have tried to contact them several times and no response has been received; as well as this, the same dates are available but for double the original price that was due to be paid, how convenient.

Sat waiting for our transfer home and can honestly say this place is amazing this little village is idyllic. When we arrived we were greeted with a free upgrade which was great the hotel staff are friendly always smiling and greeting you. Although Milini is small right outside the hotel there are boast that leave every 45 minutes to either Dubrovnik or Cavtat for €15 euro return. Mainly seafood in the restaurants which I am not a fan of but always found something to eat. I would highly recommend this hotel for couple wanting a relaxing break but that also have quick links to other areas within croatia.

6 weeks to go had this hotel booked in jan 24 for two weeks in late June and today I got an email that they have cancelled my stay no explanation yet they are still taking booking for the same time at over a 1000 euro more? Is that why they cancelled I travel 6 or 7 times a year and never have I had this happen really disappointed

First time in Croatia and we picked the best! Hotel was so clean and tidy, bedroom and bathroom excellent. Breakfast excellent and lovely touch to be able to order extra things, all delicious. We found everyone friendly and helpful . Lots of restaurants and bars nearby, all do similar food but all good, best bar Pirate bar on edge of rocks, best restaurants take a walk round the bay to Lorenco, excellent food and good wine Was quiet but we were happy with that, weather great Easy to get around on the number 10 bus to Cavat and Dubrovnik Would definitely return Thank you for a lovely first stay in Croatia

Breakfast excellent, staff at breakfast excellent, lovely clean hotel , the reception staff let the rest down , we found them unfriendly and unhelpful. All the restaurants around the hotel seem to charge the earth and provide basic food. Everything closed around 10pm we were asked to leave and pay our bill at 9.45pm !!! Croatia is a nice country to visit but we will not be returning as the people arent friendly and its become very expensive.

The staff made our visit an amazing memorable stay at the hotel the Mlini. My wife and I were celebrating our 50th (Golden) Wedding Anniversary, having spent our honeymoon at the adjacent Astarea Hotel which is currently under renovation. As we could not book the Astarea Maistra offered us the Hotel Mlini. We were treated like VIP’s. The staff were so kind and helpful. The suite we were given was amazing, we were greeted with a chilled bottle of wine and a celebration cake being placed in the lounge.Our towels were placed on the bed in the form of two swans making a heart shape. Later in the week the towels were formed into the shape of an elephant and placed in the bathroom. The food in the hotel restaurant and beach bistro was delicious and well presented, The breakfast was very enjoyable and the evening menu had a different tasty selection each day. The restaurant and bistro staff were also kind and helpful. The reception team kept us very well informed and organised our airport transfers as well as our three island trip. They even sorted out our antiquated mobile phone whilst one of them used her phone to contact our daughter in the UK so she would know her elderly parents were safe and well. The name Hotel Mlini will evoke wonderful memories of an unforgettable romantic stay and has exceed all expectations. The Hotel Mlini has a team to be proud of.

The Hotel Mlini was a lovey surprise. The hotel was spotless. The rooms cleaned & towels changed daily. The staff were friendly & helpful from the reception to the cleaners. Breakfast was very good, loads of choice. Will definitely be going back.
