Beautiful and quiet getaway, great for couples. Great breakfast, next time we'll stay for steak dinner. Not too far from town, but far enough to feel private and special.

I chose Red cliffs because I wanted peace and quiet and to be out of town. It offered everything I was looking for; perfect choice. Must admit, the Grill dining was a bit expensive so chose light fare from the bar for other meals.

We loved the location. We stayed in one of the cabins overlooking the river. The views are fabulous, and the food is always great. The pool is big, but the hot tube could use some work. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we will return.

Red Cliff Lodge is a special gem. The staff makes you feel like you are family coming home for a visit. Can't say enough about the property and location!

Right on the CO river, staring at red cliffs and water rapids: hard to beat the location. Although expensive, it is worth the splurge for the views! The two bedroom cottages are nice size and can accommodate up to 6, although the one bath connects between two bedrooms, so a bit awkward. Decor is Southwest; wood and dark colors, rather dated color palette. Kitchenette is great addition! Big deck overlooking the river, red cliffs. Do be prepared for extremely hard, mineral water, in spite of their water trea**ent. Bring some bottled water if you are concerned about taste of it.

Red Cliffs Lodge is just fantastic! It’s a magical location directly on the Colorado River. So cool to stay where John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara and so many other filmed great movies! Love the cowboy feel and the comfort of the rooms. Can’t wait to come back!

The Lodge's setting is spectacular, and the rooms (King Suite) very comfortable. The staff are attentive and kind. However, if you have to purchase meals on site - they are expensive, and in general, I think the lodging cost per night is much too high considering alternatives in and near Moab.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel. Wonderful view of Colorado River from the room. Room was clean, although some areas are aging. Staff is great. Restaurant is incredible. Breakfast buffet is excellent and a must experience.

This place was awesome and the best stay of 8 in our two week trip to the National Parks in Utah. We chose a "creekside" room as it was cheaper than the Colorado River view rooms. The room had the bed on one level and two steps down to the kitchen. Quite large. The patio was great for breakfast but these rooms face west so you get full sun in the afternoon. The restaurant was surprisingly good. My wife had the best hamburger of her life there! You should visit the movie museum in the basement of the main lodge before you visit any parks. Many movies were shot in the area and the video shows you the scene in the movie then jumps to the view you will see in the park. It's a short drive from Moab itself but the town is nothing spectacular anyway and the hotels in town are no cheaper than the lodge.
