This place is awesome. Staff are nice. The diving shop inside is great. Location is good. Quiet at night but also safe.

They consider themselves a resource and it is not clear why more like a hostel. Nice room, has hot water. The area is good. The food is nothing and the price is expensive for what you get

The location was good, as it was very close to the bus stop and convenience store. Unfortunately not very close to the beach. But the tricycle ride is about 15 minutes to get there. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed the slides and having facilities for children. The breakfast was not good and extremely basic. Our room was spacious but the water heater was hidden under the sink, and we had to endure cold showers until we complained and they showed us. The staff was friendly and helpful. Considering the overall price, you get what you pay for, with a little extra. Would recommend for a 1-2 night stay, but not longer.

Overpriced for what you get, no included bottles of water. Great if you want to go scuba diving. But not so great if you want the pool for swimming. Since they use the pool for scuba lessons. Great views

Very good location Just a few minutes walk to the beach. There are many restaurants and dive shops nearby. The environment is beautiful and quiet. You can already see sea turtles on the beach. If I come to Moxiang again, I will stay here again

The hotel is very convenient, but there are no toothbrushes or hairdryers in the room, and the safe is old and requires a key lock.

Pic on web site and Agoda look great, but when you get there it’s all disappointing. Pool out of action, and nothing positive to say about the rest of it all. In the defence they did offer pool in next resort, but still not the same, as that resort doesn’t really want you there and it feels that way
Response from Property: Hi Barry, Thank you for your review, feedback is always appreciated. We're sorry at this time we did not meet your expectations, our pool is currently being refurbished, a decision we made at the start of our low season to minimize inconvenience, and we expect to reopen the pool very shortly. Nevertheless, we do want to ensure all our guests experience a warm welcome during their stay, and rest assured this is a perception we will address. Thanks,

A return visit, this time we stayed in a bungalow, and it was a good option. The main room was clean, cool and large and the bathroom was a good size. Although located on the 'road', it is closed in the evening, so traffic and noise is not an issue at night. The verandah was a nice place to sit but the view was of the dive centre and a little noisy during the day. A better bungalow would be next to the pool or overlooking the sea. The pool was clean and refreshing in the morning, although after a day in the sun, it was tepid by the late afternoon. The sunloungers near the pool are plastic and do not recline, so unless you like to lie down on a small incline, they aren't particularly comfortable. Accessible to everything, it is a short walk to the Sardine Run and the Panagsama Beach area provides lots of dining options.

Quo Vadis is a solid resort by divers and for divers. Right on the world famous Moalboal reefs, with the Sardine run and Pescadore island. The staff and micro culture of Quo Vadis was so kind and chill. From John the manager, to my divemasters Ishmael, and Arnel, hotel staff April and Melanie, and even the guard Vince. I am experienced diver and everything was arranged perfectly. I recommend spending a tiny bit more and just having your own divemaster that way you can take your dives at your own pace and are not rushed / cut short by a group. The prices are so affordable that with a divemaster it is less than a group dive most anywhere in the world The room was clean and the AC worked great. The WiFi was weak but I didn't come for the WiFi! The restaurant was fine and again the staff simply could not have been more kind and helpful.

We had a great time staying and diving at the Quo Vadis Dive resort. We did every day 3 to 4 dives at different dive sites. Most dive sites here are wall dives. We saw many turtles, frog fish, scorpion fish, pipe fish, electric clams, orang utan grabs and of course sardines. John was very flexible with the dive sites and arranged for us an early morning dive and going to a separate dive with a smaller boat. Thanks a lot for the great service and the great experience.
Response from Property: Hi Thanks for your review, appreciate it. It was our pleasure having you stay and dive with us, our Dive Guides love showing what Moalboal reefs have to offer, and we hope to see you again in the future. Thanks for choosing Quo Vadis Dive resort. Best Regards

Stayed 3 night in April and enjoyed my stay Had an oceanfront room which was right next door to the dive center. Initially had a lot of issues with communication, was not getting any response, this was the hotel not the dive center who where very prompt. The Manager John even came and said hello which was a nice touch Diving was well run and one of the best setups i have seen in the Philly area, however i felt the actual site where underwhelming Hotel which like i say email comms where dreadful but face to face staff where lovely, nice brekkie in the morning and wifi was decent Location is good with a number of restarants in the area If i am in the area i would stay here again, but there are more spots to explore so unlikely to be back
Response from Property: Hi Thanks for your review, we appreciate it. Your feedback regarding email communication is noted. Thanks for choosing Quo Vadis Dive Resort. Best Regards

Nice dive resort right on the coast. My wife and I booked the premier suite. Our back deck overlooks the Ocean. About as nice a view as we have ever seen. The room is nice king size bed good AC and internet. Good hot shower, safe, small refrigerator, plenty of space to store your things. The resort of course has a great dive shop. The property has a pool and a restaurant. Great place to stay.

We booked this resort for our yearly diving holiday. Let's start with the hotel part. We stayed in a bungalow with pool view. The bungalow was spacious with a balcony and view of the pool and the sea. Basically equipped with 2 large beds, a tv, a cabinet, fridge and save. Shower was basic, and could need a bit of an update. The bungalow was separated from the pool and the rest of the resort by a small road, which is closed during the night and protected by a night guard. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and diner, but we only had breakfast. It was included and was limited of choice, but was very tasty and it was more than enough. If you go diving, go early enough, as they serve table by table, so you can loose some time. The staff was very friendly and did everything to help you out. The restaurant also has a nice view on Pescador Island. There is a small pool, with pool bar. The sun beds really need to be changed. They have had their best time. There is a towel service, but in fact we got the same towels we had to use in the room. The resort is located just foot steps from the hustle and bustle. You can fiend plenty to eat and drink for very good prices. The dive center is to recommend. Friendly staff and a spacious boat. Special thanks to Arnel who guided us during our holiday and found the most beautiful creatures for us. There is also a very nice housereef the you can drift along. Every dive we saw at least one turtle. Definitely try the sardine run, they are just beside the hotel.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Quo Vadis Dive Resort. All the resort staff were amazing in helping us with any enquiry or need. Mirasol was particularly helpful with answering my numerous emails beforehand and it was wonderful to meet all the reception staff in person and put faces to names. We are both vegetarian and the ladies in the restaurant were great at accommodating our needs. We loved the diving. We dubbed our dive guide Arnel "Eagle Eyes Arnel". He was superb at finding the smallest of creatures. All the dive staff are to be highly commended on how they conducted the dives. The top priority was diver safety and care and we never felt rushed in getting ready. Having dived in many places around the world we know when we are looked after ! Our dive boat captain John Rex is also extremely experienced and took us safely to every dive. We did see a few accidents with inexperienced captains! Our favourite dive site was Umbrella and we did that twice-so many things to see. We had excellent communication with John at the dive shop before we arrived. Nothing was too hard to organise. There is a lovely relaxed attitude there in deciding which dives to do as well. . It was very easy to organise a night dive and we also did our first flouro dive on this dive. I had the equipment and brought it with. It was awesome . I would like to thank each and everyone there who made our stay so special and enjoyable- there are too many people to list . We loved meeting you all and hope to come back one day.
