Homewood Suites by Hilton Mobile Airport-University Area

Upon arrival, the lobby with the fireplace makes a very warm and pleasant impression. The hotel room is very neat and very clean. Room is in pleasant, bright colors. Pictures complete the good first impression. Some things make a very high-quality impression, for example the faucet in the bathroom. I missed a USB plug, which is more and more often placed in lamps or next to the bed to charge the cell phone. The only, but big point of criticism was the breakfast. I looked for coffee cups in vain. I had to ask the staff twice until it was noticed that the disposable cups were used up. Coffee very good. The selection is not very large, comparably much less than in comparable hotels. The orange juice was very negative, probably a cheap product, also with an aftertaste. After it is now common, there are no hot, instead only "warm" scrambled eggs. Only these were not even warm, in the spectrum between warm and cold rather cold to be counted and therefore hardly to be enjoyed. Since the breakfast can not be rated separately, I have to think about what my rating should be. Because certainly hotel guests without breakfast are well accommodated here.

The beds aren’t very comfortable. Staff is great.

Room had a sour smell. There were 2 long strands of hair on the shower floor. Breakfast was excellent.

Good stay and conveniently located

4 stars because it was clean, beds were good, quiet, a good value. But... room needed tons of maintenance, some threadbare chairs, broken handles, lots of stuff that tells you the maintenance has been put off for some time. Perhaps that was why it was such a good value. The 2 bedroom suite was actually two connected rooms sold as one suite... perfect for a family of four that wants some privacy. I'd stay here again.

Very poor service with the staffs from the time of checkin till checkout. Room was filthy, plus BR no commodities was available. Corridors and elevator was not presentable, filthy carpets! There was no time to look for another hotel when we arrived at 8 pm driving all the way from Houston , Texas. Staffs were not communicating what happens previously. Staffs were not that friendly when complaints are made. Gave them another chance the following day to clean room, silverfish was running in kitchen, did not provide commodities ,nothing was done. Was very upset with the staffs, was informed that there was no more cleaning lady that time we arrived 8 pm.Room was clean only the day before checkout. This hotel needs staff that shows caring to customers and make their stay comfortable, I will never stay in this hotel again. It was also hard to get in touch with ******* who booked us in this hotel, so we can inform them what was happening . In there website it says no refunds can be made after reservations mad with this hotelI I thought our booking was great with this hotel and with high expectations but it was not! It was a very uncomfortable 3 day stay with this hotel.

The room was very musty and a very strong mold smell

This property is in much need of rehabilitation. There were holes in the carpets and flooring. The chairs were ripped, the couches stained. The pull out bedding dirty. The check in desk was friendly and a reason I give one start. We won’t stay here again unless they update/cleanliness improves.
