Fantastic location to restaurants, supermarket and shops.

Friendly staff. Good location. Easy access to supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants.
However, there was no air conditioning. You could open window a little bit, but air ventilation was still not good. It’s hard to say there was a view in the room, unless you consider a loading bay was okay.
There was no free wifi provided in lounge or in hotel room. It’s chargeable at £3 per night.
It’s noisy in the morning when workers began unloading products for a supermarket nearby.

Another return visit to our home town and stay here to visit family and friends. Overall a nice stay and will be back next month.

Fantastic stay! Had the best sleep I’ve had in a while, very comfy room, reasonably priced in comparison to the other options. I’m unfamiliar with the area as I’m from the north (down to meet some old friends). Ollie was very helpful, telling me what’s good in the area and his recommendations on where to go etc. all the staff were very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely be visiting again!

I appreciate this Travelodge is situated on the main High Street - as such, it's good value and easy to find. However, it was incredibly noisy - lots of noise coming from both inside (plumbing, doors slamming etc) and outside the hotel, lots of people gathering outside, shouting, screaming, police etc. I spoke to staff but they said there was nothing they could do.

Best sleep I’ve had in ages, great staff and location. Clean, cheap but quality stay. Really cannot fault this Travelodge, although basic it offers everything needed. Paid extra for early check in and very much enjoyed the whole stay. There’s a vending machine in the lobby and a selection of cafe and restaurants within walking distance.
