This Hampton experience was subpar compared to others. When we checked in to our room, there was dried toothpaste in the sink, a dried substance on the toilet, and mildew growing in the grout in the shower. A plastic cup wrapper was left in the floor in the bathroom. The mirror frame had splashes of toothpaste and/or soap on it. There was no extra roll of toilet paper left in our room, nor did housekeeping leave one when they refreshed our towels later in the week. We ended up having to ask the front desk for more. On checkout day, housekeeping started banging on our door at 8:45 am. I inquired about checkout time, and they confirmed it was noon. I let the lady know we would be checking out between 11-12. Promptly at 11, she was banging on the door again. I explained we weren’t quite ready, but would be soon. When we left our room moments later, the lady was standing by our door with her housekeeping cart as if we had put her out.
