It is outside the city of Barcelona but as we didn't want to stay in the center this option was excellent. For those who are going to visit PortAventura, it is in an excellent location (in front of the road to the park) so you don't need to get into any traffic jams to leave Barcelona. Around the hotel there are 3 large supermarkets (Mercadona, Aldi and Lidel), which is impressive as it helps travelers A LOT. The hotel has free parking in front. Next to the hotel there is also a Dominus pizzeria and a Japanese food restaurant that we ate on the first day and really enjoyed. The facilities are those of IBIS so you always know what you are going to receive (no more and no less). The only good thing that we had that was different compared to other Ibis that we have stayed in was that in this one, as we had two rooms, they placed us at the end of the corridor and so we could close a door in the corridor and open the bedroom door, which allowed us to use part of the hallway as an extension of the bedroom (I loved the idea). Anyway, I recommend visiting the Hotel. NOTE: we went to the center of Barcelona by train (30 minutes) and a short walk to the station - all very good because the neighborhood is very beautiful
