If you are lucky, you can meet Hokkaido red foxes, eagle and other wild animals while walking in the nearby Nature Centre. There is a small department selling local products. The nearest convenience store is about 7 kilometers away from the commissary and there is very little public transportation. If you don't drive, buy something you need and come over. The hotel staff's service was excellent, with 4 points because the hotel seemed to be less suitable for foreign tourists. I use Japanese to communicate, so the problem is not big, but if it is in English communication, various introductions may be omitted. The Chinese marked on the coffee machine is also automatically translated, very strange.

For an old hotel, it was quite nice. The room was a twin bedroom, and two beds were placed on the tatami mats. The hot spring was large and there was an open-air bath, which was very nice. Dinner is a plan with steak, and since it is originally a buffet, you can eat all you can eat other than steak. I'm full. For breakfast, there are both Japanese and Western dishes. It was a tourist hotel. It's close to Sounkyo, so I think the location is good.

There are various things at the time of booking, and eventually book at a high price. Coffee is available until midnight 0 after check-in, but it cannot be used at 10 o'clock of check-out. Hokkaido has many people staying by car, so it is helpful for drivers if it can. I came here advised by the staff at my hostel, looking for a tattoo-friendly onsen. This is a large, fancy resort and I don't deny I felt a little out of place at first 😁 The place is super nice, yet the entrance (without towel fee) is only 1000 yen, or 800 if you have the discount coupon from the hostel, which is conveniently next door. I have very large, very visible tattoos (including on my arms, legs and neck) and I was allowed entrance without any issues, although in some of the bath areas there are signs that say ”No tattooes”, which I figure must be old. There are a few different pools, both indoor and outdoor, including an open-air bath on the 7th floor, overlooking the magnificent mountains and gorge. I was the only foreigner and the only person with tattoos. I'm so stoked I could experience such a place, definitely worth visiting if you have tattoos and are in the Daisetsuzan area!

I stayed at the route in Muroran, so I thought that Kitami was also a route inn, but when I took the stay just before, Kitami was already full! Dommy Inn Kitami is a little higher. That is, it may feel a little high. The reason is that the price rank is a little high. Route in Kitami Parking, breakfast is free. I'm not sure this difference. I finished 700 yen high with breakfast cut. But my favorite public bath is the hot spring degree, the open-air bath, and the sauna point are worth only to compensate for the 700 yen high. Far more than expected, I thought that this cheap hotel for foreigners would be very poor (because there is no information on it on the official website of Sounkyo), and it is actually very satisfied! The hotel is very old, but the cleaning is very clean, the price is bigger than expected, and the use is more convenient. Catering is also very good, at this price, the price is very high, crab legs and salmon to eat! Very close to the bus stop and the shopping street. The only dissatisfaction is that Ishikagawa is on the edge of the hotel, and the sound of the water is louder at night.

The room was a smoking room so it smelled. It's a minus for me who doesn't smoke, I felt that the bed was old and loose. It is regrettable that the TV in the room is charged, but it is recommended comprehensively because it includes breakfast, the taste is good, the location is good and the accommodation fee is cheap.

The response of the front desk and the room and water were clean and very good. There are few breakfasts, but free coffee and lemon water were delicious, so it's okay. Just about 2 points.
