Hyatts never seem to come up in my destinations, but I will look harder. This was only my second stay with the chain, but it was very good, as was my first stay a few years ago. For me the best thing was the actual breakfast service. SO many places are using disposable everything for breakfast and it hurts my heart to see all that garbage. This place has real cutlery, real plates, real cups. Breeakfast menu was good, not really that special, but real tableware just makes me feel so much better, and not like I'm at a McDonald's. The room was very well laid out, clean and fresh, good bathroom, good amenities, SUCH a comfy bed. We got in late but used the corner sofa, the pivoting tv and the easy streaming from my personal services to relax comfortably before bed. Again, real cups and glasses in the room. I hate using a plastic cup that's wrapped in plastic if I'm having a glass of wine or a beer before bed. We experienced no noise from outside or the hallways and slept well. I was disappointed that the pool wasn't ready as it was predicted to be when I booked. I would have considered it excellent service if we had been given an upgraded room or some other perk when I clearly expressed my disappointment at the lack of facilities. We also overlooked a construction site..,not their fault, but maybe could've assigned us a better room on a night that didn't appear to be that busy. Still overall, I'd rank this as a top-level stay and I'll look for other Hyatts in the future.
