In terms of location, this hotel is 15 to 20 minutes away from the EBS bus station, which is not close, and it is not in a tourist area, which can be daunting. However, the monnikerdam where it is located has a quiet environment, and the rooms are traditional European-style small rooms. Living there is like living in a fairy tale.
What's even more commendable is the hotel's breakfast, which is a Western-style breakfast in the form of high tea. The food is of high quality, and the butter also has a strong scent of animal fat. It's not ordinary supermarket butter. It's worth sighing for!
PS There are no stairs here. If you have a lot of luggage or people with limited mobility, please consider carefully.

In una residenza del 1600, piccolo hotel con 12 suites una diversa dall’altra e veramente intriganti con arredamento frutto di una ricerca evidente. Ovviamente risente del fatto che gli spazi siano in qualche caso angusti, con un’unica ripida scala che il gentilissimo titolare aiuta ad affrontare all’arrivo offrendosi di portare le valigie non essendovi ascensore. La colazione nell’elegante sala adibita alla sera a ristorante stellato, da noi non provato, é presentata dal titolare non a buffet ma con una parte salata e una dolce. Non molto varia ma veramente con una classe e una qualità da sottolineare e premiare. Complimenti alla gestione.

Impeccable service, beautiful neat, and comfortable rooms with lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was phenomenal and we loved fussing Lev & Ten as well. The whole area was super chilled and a lovely place to walk and explore with a great patisserie, Thai and bars near by.

Nettes kleines Hotel in Monnickendam. Wer den Trubel in Amsterdam umgehen will kann hier übernachten. Das Hotel hat ein Restaurant, mit einem Michelin-Stern ausgezeichnet. Teuer aber vielleicht muss man das machen für den Stern? Der Ort ist beschaulich.

Heel erg genoten van het eten met bijpassend wijnarrangement. De uitleg over de wijn was uitstekend! Wij komen heel graag nog keer terug. Sistermans suite is ook een aanrader om na diner lekker te gaan slapen en wakker te worden met ontbijt op bed. Liefs van mij

Een van de weinige mogelijkheden om tijdens de corona te eten. Wel alleen in combinatie met een hotelkamer. We hebben hier lekker gegeten en gedronken. Het eten is goed verzorgd en het wijnarrangement sloot mooi aan. Ondanks dat de prijs wel aan de hoge kant is voor hetgeen we kregen hebben we erg genoten.
