I enjoyed my one-night stay at this lovely hotel on the edge of town. Unfortunately for me, it was the one night that their restaurant is closed so I missed what I hear is some good dining. Also, it rained on and off that day so I couldn't use the pool. Aside from that, it was an easy check-in with a young man who thankfully for me spoke English as my French is still pretty limited. There was a mild problem with the heat in my room at first but they got that fixed pretty quickly and all the rest was great (though the lighting at the sink makes shaving a bit difficult). Overall, I'd recommend it when visiting the area and the little town has a few other restaurants to choose from as well if you also happen to stay here on a Wednesday night.

La nostra permanenza al Château Hôtel Edward 1er è stata semplicemente eccezionale! Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per caso, ma è stata la decisione migliore che potessimo fare. La signora Eleonore è stata estremamente gentile e disponibile, consigliandoci ottimi posti dove mangiare dato che il loro ristorante era chiuso. Il posto è fantastico, e la colazione è stata la ciliegina sulla torta! Ricca e curata nei minimi dettagli, sembrava di essere in una bomboniera. Consiglio vivamente di provare questa esperienza!

Mérite son classement : accueil , qualités : service, chambre, décoration, petit déjeuner. En cette saison : un rapport qualité/prix exceptionnel. Nous n'avons pas pu dîner au restaurant .(notifié au guide rouge Michelin) ..ce sera la prochaine fois.

Un accueil extrêmement chaleureux, une chambre très confortable, bien aménagée et spacieuse et un personnel très efficace et sympathique. Le petit déjeuner était varié et copieux. Le restaurant était exceptionnel, un peu cher, mais ça vaut le coup. Un séjour très agréable que nous recommandons vivement.

Such a lovely small-chateau hotel. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The restaurant is very high quality and serves delicious meals. There’s a lovely pool area and the hotel is in a quiet street within a minutes walking distance. For the price, the hotel and restaurant provides excellent value for money. We stayed here for two nights but wish it could’ve been longer - we’ll return!
