Nothing is saved. Dilapidated rooms. No hot water. Terrible restaurant and dining room and kitchen staff never seen so rude and not competent. ESCAPE WHILE YOU HAVE TIME! Bring clean cutlery and napkins from home. The plates are set at the table without changing either the cutlery or the service tablecloths. The dining room staff is extremely rude.

We were guests of this hotel il ponte dei morti, therefore November 2023. Unfortunately our experience was not positive. Let me start by saying that the hotel is very large and beautiful but certainly worth enjoying the services it has in the summer. We arrived in the afternoon and there was not a living soul except the bellboys who accompanied us to the room on the 2nd floor going up the stairs because according to one of the delivery men the elevator was under maintenance and that it would be operational the next day but it didn't happen. So we always went up and down on foot. The spacious quadruple room with TV and large beds for us and our daughters, but the bathroom with bathtub without a waterproof sheet to close the shower, there were no shower towels for everyone but only two. I call the reseption but the phone doesn't work so patiently my husband goes down to ask for more towels which are provided the next day, we turned on the hot water and an absurd and annoying noise started. My husband solved the problem. Breakfast wasn't bad but the food wasn't protected by display cases, the juices were in jugs without caps where I found an insect and the most inconceivable thing was the acidic pineapple juice. The next day again at breakfast only us and another family of 4 and the breakfast was pitiful with no variety of products, only one person, a woman who did everything and was also rude. When out of curiosity I asked her if we were alone in the hotel she told me I answered yes in a rude way, stating that a lot of people would be arriving the following day. I just want to clarify that not even once were we rude and rude even if they deserved warnings about everything and we didn't do it. We left saying goodbye politely but for all the guests who will go there, assert yourself.

I didn't have the opportunity to try the rooms and the hotel service, but I can absolutely have my say on the catering and services table. Terrible food, I found plastic in the aubergine caponata and a nylon thread in the mushroom risotto. Very slow service. In short: stay away from this establishment like banquets.

This place is an elaborate fraud to get your credit card and passport details. It is run by family, upon entering no one wears uniform. All guests that check in leave within hours but then you must cancel your credit card as they continue trying to charge it and then hide the charges on your card within a short period. They even have a relative who is a police officer comes past in his car when they call and he talks to the complainant for ages until they finally give up and leave for another hotel. Ponzi scheme beware!!

Title: An experience to absolutely avoid! My stay at this hotel was a big disappoin**ent, and I want to share my experience to prevent other travelers from making the same mistake. The photos on the site are the only positive thing I can highlight. The entrance to the hotel may seem grandiose, it's true, but I advise you not to even push the door to enter. The staff was almost non-existent, and the owner did not seem to take responsibility. The room, for its part, was old and worn, with sockets and equipment worthy of an old hotel from the 80s, certainly not worthy of a five-star establishment. As far as cleanliness goes, it was rubbish. The common areas did not do better. We were told about all day dining, but in reality it was just drinks at the pool bar. The latter, although it appears beautiful from a distance, does not inspire any confidence. Everything seemed under construction and poorly maintained, right down to the green spaces where we saw a dead pigeon decomposing. The color of the bottom of the pool was yellowish, which made us seriously wonder about the bacteria we could catch while swimming. Faced with this situation, we made the decision to leave the hotel and not spend the night as planned. In summary, this establishment is absolutely to be avoided!

This was quite possibly the most bizarre hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It appeared luxurious when you entered but the room was a very poor quality and the bed was like a rock! The breakfast was very average unless you like sweet cakes. The service was fine but the other food practically non existent unless you like pizzas. The location was simply dreadful. Virtually the back of beyond and the road to it awful (although not unusual in Sicily!). The pool was nice!

We stayed in this "4-star resort hotel". In reality we don't know the hotel, but we were at a wedding reception which turned out to be a real disaster for the spouses who suffered the total and continuous disorganization of the structure. They very sorry and victims as much and more than us invited They made us go down three flights of stairs saying that the elevators were broken, which was not true The aperitifs looked like homemade canapés and in negligible quantities To drink only water and very little prosecco The appetizers, as far as apparently, replaced with others not agreed upon. When we asked for a glass to drink something (there was only water on the tables) during the appetizers, we were told (exact words): "the glasses are at the tables where you will eat the rest" ( at least 30 meters away) The main dishes, risotto and stewed fish. arrived at the tables 2 hours after the appetizers and an hour apart from each other Hot wine, without a bucket of ice, and to have a second bottle, always hot, (table of 8) we waited 45 minutes Better to stop here, it's better not to say anything else. Let's just add that we are very sorry for the spouses and their families, who we know were extremely disappointed by this situation. It is certainly not their fault, but that of others
