Wir hatten das Hotel du Tertre für unseren Besuch der „Mont-Saint-Michel-Bucht“ ausgesucht. Vom Hotel aus ist Mont Saint-Michel, das Naturschutzgebiet an der Küste, der Mont Dol mit seiner Superaussicht auf die Bucht sowie Cancale und selbst St. Malo auch mit dem Rad recht gut zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist ein einfacher, aber sauberer Landgasthof und wird von einem freundlichen Gastgeber betrieben. Das „klassische“ frz. Frühstück wurde separat abgerechnet und war - na ein klassisch französisches Frühstück eben. Die Bar des Hotels wurde schon spätnachmittags betrieben, essen kann man im Hotel nicht, aber zu den frz. Restaurantzeiten (bis 15:00 Uhr und ab 19:00) in einem kleinen Restaurant gegenüber. Uns wurde das Essen von mitgebrachten Speisen an hoteleigenen Tischen auf der Terrasse gestattet, die Getränke erhielten wir - klassisch bayerisch - vom Wirt. Für Reisende ohne große Anforderung an Luxus und Komfort ist das Hotel eine gute Wahl.

A quelques kms de Dol de Bretagne, situé dans un charmant petit village, on trouve cet hôtel ; les chambres sont spacieuses avec des grands lits et une salle de bain appropriée. Le petit déjeuner est copieux . seul regret, le restaurant associé à l'hôtel est en cours de rénovation, aussi il faut revenir à Dol de Bretagne

I went to the hotel bar with a family group in April 2023. The woman on the bar was incredibly unwelcoming and rude throughout our time there. We spoke to her politely in French but she still barely responded and requests for basic drinks (like juice for the kids) were met with a 'non' and a glare. When we eventually got some coffees she sat metres away staring at us rudely for the entire time. The worst bar we've been to in many years of coming to Brittany - avoid at all costs!
