Very nice surprise of good taste and even refinement in this very pretty boutique-hotel-spa, recently opened in Montagne Saint-Emilion. A warm air of Tuscany in the choice of colors and a**ospheres, desired by the owner. Ideally away (but not too far) from the hubbub of Saint Emilion, the discreet chic of this cocoon immediately seduces, as does the very friendly welcome from the team. Lots of little touches, as well as the provision (still too rare) of a charging station for vehicles. We will come back.

Short stay in this very pretty establishment which is well worth getting away from Saint Emilion (less than 5 km) to stay in the middle of the vineyards. Hotel completely renovated with great taste. Comfort and tranquility. Pretty park with heated swimming pool. But also spa and wellness center. Excellent welcome. Perfect breakfast. In short, we will come back with pleasure.

I highly recommend a stay here. The rooms are tastefully & luxuriously decorated. It is an oasis of calm in a peaceful village surrounded by an extensive garden with a pool which overlooks vineyards in every direction. Breakfast is copious with top quality products . Dinner at La Reserve de la Presbytere is highly recommended - just across the road. The Pollomamzo restaurant is perfect for a casual meal. The staff are very professional and sesrvice is top class. I look forward to staying here again in the near future.

A very "light" 4 star hotel... Maybe 3 would nail it... - No reception occupied after 2000 - no lift - the gym is a joke... - the website says breakfast as of 0700 but the staff told us, sorry, we open at 0730... - empty minibar All in all not worth the money!

The good points: beautiful setting and buildings. Stylish and very clean, comfortable bedroom with top quality bedding. Less good: the dinner - the food was fine, and surroundings pleasant, but the service was too slow. Two and a half hours for a 3-course meal is excessive. And the glass of red wine was simply horrid, with a bitter aftertaste. So we decided against dinner in the hotel the second night. Breakfast costing €25 pp was buffet style and good/average quality. However neither coffee machine was functioning- (one of these simply needed water), but the only young woman on duty this Saturday didn’t get round to sorting this out so we had a very expensive breakfast without coffee. We felt service was lackluster in this expensive hotel. Parking is in a free public car park behind the hotel, and our room was in the annex of the hotel above the restaurant, so nice and quiet. But we were left to carry our cases up the stairs to our room with no lift. Compared to previous hotels we’ve stayed in on this trip, we felt Aux Ducs de Sienne does not give value for the cost.

Beautiful old buildings completely modernised to a very high standard. Air con v welcome. Very comfy beds. Lovely gardens & pool. But if you want a coffee maker or mini fridge you have to order on arrival & pay extra - unacceptable. Arrived at 3 (earliest check in time) & tried to order room service meal at 4pm for the evening as restaurants closed - we were told that we had to order before 3pm - of course that is impossible - come on think it through staff ! Very wide choice at breakfast - wonderful. Ate at restaurant a few doors from our room next evening and good food at fairly high standard but wine v pricey.
