The reserved two-room view is beautiful and the service is first-class. The location of the hotel is on the most beautiful beach. The staff is very friendly. We carelessly left our luggage on the train. The hotel manager patiently helped me call the lost and found form on the train. A little brother who parked the car drove me to the train station and supermarket by himself! ! Everyone is very friendly! The only bad thing is that the room is a bit humid. Because of the sea, the breakfast served in the room is packed in a plastic shell haha. The picture above

The staff who worked at the Gurney were very polite and courteous, especially the doormen and workmen. Lisa stood out as being particularly good- going above and beyond. The pool was beautiful and clean. Outside areas could have been wonderful but were poorly maintained with other areas being upgraded and cordoned off- like a building site- definitely not 5 * JOHN, who served us at breakfast was a disgrace. He was arrogant and downright rude. His superior attitude and tone of voice was disgusting. The Junior sea view suite was mediocre. The sea could not been seen when in the room as boards blocked the view.. BUT THE WORST was having to walk either on the main road or through the car park ( that had a constant FOUL SMELL) as maintenance work prevented the normal route. Overrated and overpriced.

My husband and I got married at Gurney's on April 27th and everything was perfect! Ginny and Kelly were so wonderful to work with. They personalized the experience and paid attention to the little details and touches. Kelly coordinated the most wonderful menu for our guests! Ginny has a wealth of knowledge and experience and made sure none of the logistics were forgotten. What an amazing/creative/flexible/dynamic duo! We are so grateful! 10/10-highly recommend!

I came to spend spring break with my two kids. We had a wonderful experience staying at Gurney’s! I enjoyed the gym and yoga classes while I enrolled the kids to play in the Kids Club, where they interacted with peers and had a lot of fun activities. My kids loved being in the pool and especially enjoyed the movies on the pool nights. The staff is amazing! Cynthia in reception made sure all our needs were met. The pool staff was extra polite to the kids. Aiden in particular made friends with my son - which was so nice! The food is five star quality! Make a reservation. You will not regret it!

My husband and I have visited this resort several times because it's a relaxing and wonderful staycation right on the ocean. The setting and staff are excellent and the extra perk of having a Spa with a saltwater pool,bath house with a steam room and hot tubs is perfect. I also have an excellent massage every time I go. They also have an exercise room and classes daily. The breakfast is very satisfying and delicious. This resort really makes every guest feel pampered and relaxed and we will definitely make this resort our go to place in the future.

Our family had the best getaway at Gurneys! Every staff member was friendly and accommodating, especially Cynthia Lozano at the front desk. Cynthia took her time checking us in and explaining all that the resort has to offer. Then she surprised our kids with Gurney Whale stuffies. Our room had a spectacular ocean view, all the food was delcious, our kids loved the kids camp and we lived the Thermospa. We can’t wait to return!
